When it comes right down to it Joey gets off on hurting people - I suspect especially when he's had a drink. He is just loathsome. My abiding memory of him was in the City QPR game at the end of the 2012 season. He was red carded for a foul on Tevez and then did his best to kick or injure any city players in reach before Micah Richards ran on from the subs bench, grabbed him and walked him off. Funny how they become peaceable when Micah gets hold of them - like the Arsenal twoat who attacked Roy Keane.

More of a reflection of current affairs you'd have to say then. If my shiiite is relevant so often. Wouldn't you say? It is also a true reflection of the current right wing response to such things, thinking free speech is to say whatever you want without consequence. It's actually a VERY good comment.
Just a nasty piece of work.

He sure did. He has long history of violence and assaults. There was a video online, I think, of the one he got sent to prison for. From memory he beats a pretty gormless teenager senseless. The kid doesn't fight back and Joey seems to enjoy every moment.
makes me laugh when they act all tough squaring up to eachother but they know nothing will actually happen, unless they lack braincells like barton/keane

Looks like the court ruling has thrown him over the edge tbh, maybe he can go into rehab or something.

I don't think сunt rehab is a thing. Probably should be nowadays. Think of the amount of people who could be saved from being an utter сunt.

It takes a special level of twuntery to make Jeremy Vine the good guy.
Still, got to laugh. My favourite Joey Barton arc was him coming to Scotland after being in the English Championship team of the year and only lasting five games in the Scottish top flight before going back home because he couldn't cope with the intensity of the game.

What's your point saan?
The fact that we are all talking about both of these people on here kind of proves a point.
People are making these idiots relevant. Just dont give them the air time.
This whole affair was just about getting them clicks on the internet.
STATEMENT REGARDING JOEY BARTON:
The news of Joey Barton’s apology and commitment to pay damages and costs is not the final outcome of this case.
After five defamatory tweets, my lawyer offered Barton a chance to settle: pay £75k, plus my costs, and make an apology.
He ignored that offer and posted more disgusting tweets about me, even publishing my home address to his followers.
When I then took my case to the High Court, a judge ruled that TEN of the tweets I complained of were defamatory. Having lost, Barton has returned to the offer we made after tweet 5.
There has therefore been a parallel action on tweets 6-10 and Barton will pay further damages for these. A number of other steps — including statements made in Court by way of apology — are still to be taken, and Barton has agreed to pay my legal costs of all of the claims.
