Absolutely wonderful Greasy, Gergiev with those eyes and that toothpick, he frightens some of those musicians to death I'm sure.

It was only after watching Gerglev during the fourth movement that I really understood just how utterly compelling and intense that piece is. I mean it rolls over you like a juggernaut.
It's a vastly different experience to just listening to an LP or CD of the same performance.
