I see he's been banging on about 'rejecting the influence of the World Economic Forum'.

Pandering to the legions of idiots who make social media such an awful experience nowadays.

So predictable.

Hopefully it won't do him much good, as most of them were going to vote Reform anyway, or are bots.

This is the crap Farage is peddling now:

"Nigel Farage tells the BBC the West “provoked” Russia’s invasion of Ukraine by expanding the European Union and Nato military alliance eastwards"

Just be quiet Farage!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well its the truth and people who know how governments work, like professor jeffery sachs say the same.

Everyone, heeeeer’s Spyro! Is there like some sort of bat (bot?) signal that attracts you to these articles?

Wasn't Garage an MEP once? Where he got paid a lot and hardly turned up to work?

As an MP, he may not be able to get away with that as while Brits never cared about MEPs they will about MPs.

And isn't he standing in the place he said he wouldn't want to spend the next 5 years of Fridays at? I wonder how they feel about him.

Is it? Or do the countries close to Russia not deserve to have the option to join the EU and Nato for its benefits including protection from invasion. As Ukraine and Georgia before it has proven, these countries are extremely vulnerable to attacks from Russia, whose dictator believes they should be part of Russia anyhow due to historic maps.

People should be allowed to choose to be protected from such countries invading them. Putin throwing the toys out of the pram as they couldn't invade them in future and bombing in quickly before they could join, just proves this point.

He was. His whole input was going the odd time to sittings and ridiculing everything and everybody, with nothing valuable to add to anything.

Out of all the absolute guff that comes out of Nigel Farage's mouth.....I have actually just heard him say something sensible ( I know ).

He's said that Uni fees for the core subjects such as Science Maths and also likes of Medicine and Engineering should be scrapped.

He's absolutely not my cup of tea and I disagree with him on so many issues.....but he's actually spot on with when he says we've got too many people going to University to do degrees that don't really make a huge difference to their careers and just end up giving them huge debts.

Why should university be something linked to a future job?

The thing is most people go into jobs not related to their degree but require a degree to even apply for them. If you scrapped fees for just those subjects however you'd have a shortage in many subjects which actually do require a related degree.

Most graduates start with wrong ideas and mindset, the best starting employees are those who actually worked their way up. Most uni professors are failures in the real world and have no idea. And yes I went to uni. Waste of time

Many employers just want to employ Graduates. Irrespective of what subject they study. A BA (Hons) and a BSc (Hons) are both equal and universal high standardsof educational attainment. Many cndidates applying for corporate professional appointments dont necessarily need to have a degree relating to the specific nature of the sector they are applying in. Businesses will be prepared to offer education and training to their employess once they are on their books with the knowledge that their chosen graduate has the capability to learn and apply, at the required level. eg. Many graduates go on to have careers that earns them huge salaries and fantastic pensions in the Health & Care sectors without a Scooby Doo about Clinical and Medical care.

It is a bit. Makes crapper employees that need retrained. The only thing it’s good for is getting your foot in the door for an interview- which is wrong imo

It is for people on Mickey mouse courses.

Maths, science, law, computer science etc should be the only reason to go to Uni.

Apprenticeships, real world experience for the rest.

We need an educated work force with a diverse skillset, we don't need a highly educated workforce made up of people who waste time doing media studies. They could have easily entered the work force straight after A Levels.

I went to That London to do my degree when I was just 18 and 2 months. It was without doubt the most scary, yet eye opening, fulfilling adventure I have ever been on. I met people for the first time in my life who had come from Public Schools and from completely different social cultural and financial backgrounds. I met and befriended women for the first time. I even met my wife there. It was a massive culture shock for me, and I wouldnt have changed any of it.

Oh, and the education I got there has also been helpful occassionally for me from time-to-time. Not the most valuable thing I got from my time there by any stretch
