Copa America has had as many 0-0s as Euros
Euros is 24 games in, Copa is 2 games in πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I honestly don't have a problem with 0-0 games. More to footy than goals sometimes. Give me 0-0 over 3-0 any day. At least the game is competitive.

They should do everyone plays every one, then the lowest team drops out.

Then keep doing that until there's only 1 team left.

I've watched about half. I like to get a feeler of which teams look decent early on, or are at least fun to watch before you have to pick a favourite and which game to watch. We don't all have 3 TVs

My maths could be slightly out, but by my reckoning that would lead to 2299 fixtures being played in the tournament. Some might say a little excessive, but you don't know until you've tried....

I work 3 shifts so can watch certain games at certain times. Was on earlies last week so stuck the 2pm game on when I got home, watched a bit of the 5pm game and most of the 8pm ones.

Knockout stages should be good

No.

Both these tournaments now suffer from bloated group stages that hand hold the bigger sides through to the real stuff.

Copa just needs to be 8 sides - 2 groups of 4, semis then final. Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Chile most years with the likes of Bolivia and Venezuela occasionally qualifying.

Euros should go back to 16 teams - 4 groups of 4
