Really trying to make a statement by having the biggest fixture in the league on the opening weekend. Clearly trying to appeal to a wider audience from the get go.

8 out of the past 10 seasons that Dundee and Dundee United have been in the same division, Dundee Utd have been given the 2 home pre split fixtures to Dundee's 1.

Imagine if they gave Celtic the home game against Rangers first every season or such. The outrage it would cause.

Corrupt.

They're trying to work around the rainy season.

No - the 12:30 ko confirmed for TV.

As are the Dundee derby and Celtic opener on the Sunday and the Monday StJ v Dons. I guess the EPL doesn't start until later?
