I'm watching on German tv, and they are at a loss for words as to Englands play, slow slow sideways ,slow slow sideways,and lack of a plan B.

Of course it would make a difference. We are absolutely null on that left flank. No width, no runs, always stop and pass inside. Also, our defence pulls to the left when we are under attack leaving Walkier in no mans land. I said it from the start, it's just mental he didn't take either Chilwell or Mitchell.

As for our attack, our most direct player would probably be Gordon. Get him on and give him the ball. Get Palmer on to play between lines and look to attack the back line. Wouldn't it be nice to have Grealish there to dribble and win free kicks.
