No need to panic yet.
The only real starting-eleven deals to have been made are Gray out / Rodon in. It could well be that Aaronson becomes a starting player.
We needed to significantly reduce our wage bill. These moves should do this.
We need to make way for the next youth players to progress through and some of these deals will possibly see some kids see some first team light. Debayo and Crew are training with the first team.
We still have 22 senior players with only Llorente/Wober/Rasmus likely to add to list of those leaving.
We are now down the real questions to be answered in the close season market. Do we go with the 19 players left. Do we sell a Gruev/Kamara to bring in a different type of midfielder. The only position we do not have genuine cover in is full-backs.

To be fair, most were out on loan with clubs who were paying their wages, as was the case with Llorente, Wober, Roca etc. Offloading them merely provides a few extra million to the coffers relative to last season.
Regarding Aaronson, I really don’t want to think that Farke in his head sees him as a replacement for Giorginio. That will be a disaster. Aaronson is as lightweight with the ball as Giorginio was strong. That is the exact opposite of what we need in a physical league like the Championship.

I think Aaronson will surprise a few people. He will get past and away from championship players a lot easier than he did in the Premier League.
Look at how much better James / Summerville / Rutter / Gnonto looked in the championship

Ok, so if he’s bulked up a bit (and learned to play competitive football) then we’ll see … I’m only basing my judgements on what I’ve actually seen with my own eyes … if he’s developed his game whilst away, then fair enough, but he’s going to have to show it pretty much immediately (for me anyways).
I hope he comes good for the sake of the team but id bin him right now.
Just scooped this off FB. If true, they probably forced Archie out by not increasing his wage.
