Leny Yoro - Bid accepted

Real Madrid remain very relaxed and calm on Leny Yoro case even after Man United bid.

Romano added:

Real are aware of Yoro’s preference to join them; deal to be done this summer at their conditions, below €60m…

…or happy to wait until June 2025 to sign Yoro as free agent.

Looks like Ineos aren’t messing around.

You might have bidded more that Real was hoping to get him for. That figure rules us out too.

Doesn’t seem a ridiculous fee for a young talent like that with the amount of interest in him. Is he better/worth more/less than Branthwaite for anyone that’s watched both okay?

Maybe it’s a play to show Everton how much they’re over valuing him.

United need to stop chasing players who have no interest in joining.

This kid is 18 with 40 odd games, hardly ready to be thrown into the firing line at the club. United can't be going around paying 50+ Million for back up players anymore.

RM saw him as the next Varane

Seems unlikely he’ll come if Madrid are also bidding and they are his preference, but interesting we’ve bid and had it accepted if we’re also working on De Ligt and Branthwaite.

Surely one of these is a play to speed up the other?

I think we probably know Yoro is a long shot, but maybe one we feel we just can't miss out on if there's even a slight opportunity.

Reckon De Ligt and Branthwaite are still the priority and seen as the more attainable targets (maybe less so in Branthwaite's case), but if things do progress with Yoro we'd have to have a re-think. Either way it seems like we're operating in a way we're not really used to in the transfer market, which is refreshing.

Sounds like Yoro is the real deal but clearly Real bound. Maybe we're doing this to make Everton sweat but that all depends on how badly they need to sell Branthwaite?

Lille must be furious if the player refuses to leave this summer leaving them with nothing next summer.

Leny Yolo.

Madrid have basically completed football haven't they? The power they have is unrivalled.

They just tell players to sit tight and they will swoop in with free transfers and take them when THEY are ready.

Don't like us signing players who don't really want to be here. Never works out well for us.

Does seem like it’s gonna be the 342nd transfer window in a row where centre midfield isn’t the priority again.

We been linked seriously to anyone yet other than twitter talk around that Ugarte guy?

Think it’s been more than just Twitter talk with Ugarte. The links look real.

Ah yeah he’d be the dream option tbh. Looks a fantastic midfielder. Too expensive.

Doesn't matter if the player doesn't want to go (in this case United)
