Coops may have suffered for a lack of speed at the top level. But, made up for it in leadership skills. And for me, watching Cooper making sweet left footed passes
was about as technically sound as it gets. His body
position was always sound. Well coached. Smart player.

Yeah Batty would agree with about 90% of that..
I don't like to hear 'made up for it' in a player, though I do think there are exceptions...
another good one is Bamford under Bielsa (not even being funny Bats I promise ) but the work rate he put almost made up for the chances he fluffed... a different debate but we'll leave it I reckon
but yeah, totally agree ref being well coached.. and another nod to Beilsa there.
