Being a tall isn’t an advantage in sprinting. Of the fastest sprinters ever I think there will be more under 6ft than over 6ft.

100m lost some appeal due to no Bolt. Nobody is beating that record for quite some time.

I think Bolt found a way to turn it into an advantage but ordinarily no it doesn't.

Check how long some athletic records have been held....some are up in 30 years i think
