Feels like this one's a Farke pick. With his knowledge
of German leagues, players, and connections. If he
wants him and the club are backing him by trying to
sign him, fine by me. That ticks another box.

That really only leaves left back as our weak spot.
We need proper cover (not Byram, or Wober, or,
Struijk square pegging it again) for when Firpo gets
injured for a stretch of the season. Because he will.

If we lose Gnonto or Cree or both, obviously that
opens the door to a couple more additional signings.

Plenty of games in the Bundesliga, Austrian International, should be good at this level. Reminds me of Klich

Heavily linked to Sara at Norwich today also. Would cost more than the Austrian lad that's for sure.

Right now we're a top 6 team at a canter.

Runaway champs in my view. Think we've improved from last year at this point.

I am historically pretty much glass half empty but thinking more in the top 1.

Can't discount the 3 relegated teams just yet.
We should go up top 2. Should. Will we?

Cautiously optimistic. But, as everyone knows
the Championship is a slog. Two or three teams
who played in the Championship always rise
to the top alongside the relegated teams.

Then it's a dog fight until May.

I just hope we get off to a solid start. Build
toward January. And actually use the Jan
window to blow everyone else away. A lot
can happen between now and the end of
this upcoming season.

Yep, for me it hinges on whether we get late transfers out with no time to replace them.

You think that 3 centre mids is enough for a 48 game minimum season? We ran out of legs last season with no CM's on the bench during the run in or even the playoff final, need another one in minimum. We've lost Gray and Kamara, with Ampadu playing at CB half of last season.

I'm encouraged by the fact Farke seems to realize
he effed up by not adding to his squad last season.

Adding another CM and LB are mssively important.

I was a frequent visitor to the Balkan’s in the 90s. Croatia, Bosnia etc ….. beautiful but volatile places amongst the populations. Hopefully better these days, but wouldn’t bet on it. He’s probably no worse in mindset than you’re average Copa America winner 👍
