Can’t help but feel it’s a low ball offer.

Homegrown, goalscoring midfielder. He won us a lot of points last year, people forget that.

We paid £50m for Mount who's way less effective imo.

They can pay the £30m or move on, they have the money from the Palhina deal.

One of these players who sometimes solves a problem he helps create in the first place. The present day Fellaini.

I'm not totally against him staying but if we receive a good offer and have the opportunity to upgrade, we should.

I say no as well. Vote carried. No sale

His limited contributions can be replaced by Mount - providing he isn’t completely crocked - and Collyer this season.

If we can get about £25m and reinvest in a someone that can play football it would be good business.

He has attributes. Height, energy, positional flexibility.

In the 'right squad' McTominay would be a valuable player, versatile, who can come on a do a good job, solid professional, also grab a goal if required.
You wouldn't really want him as first choice unless injury dictated that.
The problem for us is that we both don't have a title challenging side and we also pick up a lot of injuries, so McTominay is playing more than we would want him to.
Every top squad always needs players like him - it's like Roy Keane said, it's easy to keep happy the regular first-teamers, it was the folk like 'O'Shea, P Neville, Brown, Ole, Park etc etc who you had to try and keep happy in a winning squad.
There's always the risk such players want more regular football, and given that we aren't anywhere near a winning title squad, if the right offer came in then both the club and player would need to consider.
I simply wish we were in a position where keeping McT as that useful squad player was an actual consideration.

A player that is easy to slag off, but a very good professional in my view

think that came from the S*n so I'm not too worried yet
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He'll do well at Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
unlikely because we don't play rugby
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Give it time, it’s been 12 months under Ange, Levy’s trigger finger will be getting itchy and he’ll got back to managers that want aids football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jose could return and play McT at centre back to shore up the leaky Spurs defence
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's played on the right of a back three for Scotland before.

BBC reporting that Fulham have bid £20m, but we are expected to turn it down.

His only use is pretty much the same as Rashford's.

As a late [or last 20 minutes] sub.

And in McTominay's case that's only to provide 'nuisance value' in, or around, the opposition box. A liability everywhere else.

That in itself in not a reason to get rid of him, but he could easily be replaced by better.

Ditto Rashford.
