Na Miovski was always going abroad doubt he would have signed for either team even if they could afford him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, that’s what my Dons mates were saying. Miovski always wanted a tilt at one of the big leagues, so if that was on the cards then either one of the OF was never a starter. He’ll be a big loss, but the cash seems to be getting invested well so far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will be a huge loss, but around 6.5m profit after 2 season couldn’t be knocked back
Looking at
Mitov
N. Devlin - Rubezic - G.Molloy - McKenzie
S.Nilsen - Shinnie
McGrath - Clarkson - Keskinen
Sokler
ATM but a new No.9 will be signed the St Johnstone lad being looked at, but Sokler definitely deserves a chance
easily push for third this season i reckon.
I think so, still need a couple of players in and some will move on once he has has further look
i want to see other clubs do better for themselves in scotland, can't be easy having a powerhouse like celtic and a set of cheats like rangers winning every year.
don't get me wrong, i don't want anyone else but celtic to win the league, i'm happy winning, but its good to have more teams making it interesting.
The Dons will do well this season, it's between them and Hearts for second place.
Last night, I rewatched Idah’s goals from last season. He was tremendous for us, he’s got a bit of everything in his locker. Big, solid, fast, good feet and good in the air.
I reckon we’ve got a bargain.
Ach well, another few days closer to the window slamming shut, and all the 'Tic-related transfer gossip is still all about our best players heading out the door ...
"Brighton & Hove Albion have made a formal bid for 23-year-old Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley and, with nothing yet agreed, talks are set to continue over the coming days. (Sky Sports)"
"Brighton are prepared to shatter the £25m Scottish transfer record Arsenal paid Celtic for Kieran Tierney to land midfielder Matt O’Riley and are confident of securing a deal to land the 23-year-old from the Scottish champions. (Daily Mail)"
"Brighton have agreed personal terms in principle with Matt O'Riley but are now negotiating a fee with Celtic, who want a club-record fee of £25m plus an additional £5m in add-ons for the midfielder. (HITC)"
"Brighton have targeted Celtic's Matt O’Riley and fellow midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu, currently with Fenerbahce, now that they have completed the signing of forward Georginio Rutter from Leeds United for a £40m fee. (Fabrizio Romano on X)"
"Leicester City are among the clubs monitoring Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate and the 26-year-old Japan international is keen on moving to the Premier League this summer, while there is also interest from Spain and Italy. (Chris Wheatley on X)"
We'll be in some nick if both MOR and Hatate leave this month. Midfield trio of CalMac, Bernardo and Iwata for the OF game, assuming any replacements won't be chucked straight into that one? Happy days.
Dave
One of either Hatate or MOR going is doable, but not both. Fvck that.
What’s the fee for MOR, is it £30M..?
scunnered.
no intent on improving, just enough to beat rangers and thats it, and even then thats alway at a risk.
same phish every transfer window "awww we were disappointed we didnt get more done as well"
fvck up, no you're not.
the money made players and we start the season worse off than we ended it, they are not worthy.
The only time our transfer policy was good, was when Ange was in charge, and someone else wasn’t here…
The same pash has been going on for years, and was one of the reasons BR left.
I’m all for our club making money and not doing stupid stuff with it, but come on tae fvck, make sure the team’s fit for purpose.
Lagerbielke linked with a move to Holland.
Rodgers could play himself in midfield and you'd still overrun our powderpuff midfield. Nothing to worry about.
Daniel Kelly is completing his move to Millwall for £400k today as well.
Aberdeen want Kevin Nisbet on loan.

Somebody in need of a central tunnel support? Of the many disastrous signings in both windows last season, his was right up there in the ‘WTF were you scouting?’ bracket.

Slower than Neil Lennon. Ridiculous for a modern professional athlete
Apparently £25M + 10% sell on fee for MOR to Brighton. All the noise is that he's interested in the move and both clubs to agree in the next 24 hours.
Mad rumour that Man City are interest in Kyogo
yasss more money
amazing, hopefully we can just stick a briefcase full of cash in ahead of scales at CB.
knowing these cvnts the case would be empty.
but yasss mare money!
He was always going to be sold and this is the optimum time to sign him. The fee is evident of that.
What happens next is more important and I expect we will move very quickly in the market and not just in the midfield.
Interesting to note that one of the most extensive surveys on how clubs are run, indicated that we are by far and away the best run club in the UK. Indeed, there are quite a few Scottish clubs within the top 10. Just demonstrates what basket cases operate elsewhere, especially down south.
you can hear rodgers frustrations so its clear not much has changed from last time around.
well run financially, no question, but i don't think there is a football mind among them.
There’ll be plenty going on in the background. I’m not even that concerned. If anything I’d rather he had gone a couple of weeks ago.
Actually looking forward to seeing who we might bring in and let’s face it; the domestic competition has been guff and we’ve romped every game so far. Sure we’ll have the odd unexpected dropped points here and there but this season the gap between us and everyone else just looks so much greater.
Europe? Forget it. Well pick up the money, some points but it’s an exercise in damage limitation otherwise. Last time a Scottish club gets directly into the groups having won the league and I don’t see it coming back. I probably won’t even bother going to watch us away in Europe unless I actually fancy visiting a particular city.
it's just frustrating the timeline in which we do this, alarming when you hear how the kasper deal went through, we knew for months hart was leaving. Red flag that one.
you look at Kuhn who is starting to look decent after a preseason with us, but we always seem to do things late.
there is a lack of preparation in our dealings which i find troubling.
getting jota back on loan though so thats sound.
shocked to see Lennon sacked, after doing such a good job everywhere else he has been.
worst decision in our clubs history giving him that job again.

Now this moan; I’m fully on board with. Will never forget the euphoria of the cup win being shattered less than an hour later by the news that he’d been given the job full time while he was in the shower ffs.
Just amateur hour
everything about that was wrong, and i know i go on about "jobs for the boys" but this was the epitome of it imo.
it was clearly not working in the 10 in a row season and they let it go on and on for "lennys treble" because "he deserved it", that was more important to them than 10, their pal was more important than the club, than the fans.
they don't get it.
