Only Saudi will buy Sterling off you.
Well, yeah, more than likely as a sale.
He is still 28m contract amortization + 32m ish wages,= 60m
For him to leave voluntarily ( Juve) it is likely he will have to be prepared to take a wage cut & the club a hit on his contract fee.
Skilful yet largely unavailable
Yes, this is an issue, but to the clubs credit they have totally overhauled the player performance & medical departments.
Also Poch's training methods were thought to be adding to the clubs injury blight.
If we bring in Samu together with Neto, along side Tosin & KDH,I think it can be fairly said that the club have addressed the four key areas which were in need of improvement.

Only Neto (if he stays fit) you would confidently say is a signing that improves us at this stage.
Well Samu's introduction has to be an upgrade on Broja imo, but agreed until the season gets under way it is suppersition/ opinion
Dewsbury Hall is a massive downgrade on Gallagher
Tosin is a massive downgrade on Chalobah
And the other two are garbage, and Sanchez is back as #1
We are far, far weaker than last season
i prefer to look at it slightly differently.
KDH, agreed is not Gallagher, but he will be suited to playing for Maresca. He is a decent player though.
I not happy that Gallagher has left as well, but we are where we are.
Tosin is not an up grade on Silva, but as far as Chalobah goes im happy to wait and see, at least he came on a free.
More importantly imo regarding the defence is Forfana, James & Chilwell all staying on the pitch for most of the season. That would compensate for the loss of Chalobah
Furthermore Lavia & Nkunku staying injury free will be another huge improvement on last seasons squad.
Add to that Neto , who i think will be a better option than Sterling and Mudryk , as long as he can stay injury free.
Then the addition of Omorodion up front , who I agree is a bit of a punt, we maywell maintain a 6th place challenge.
Finally Sanchez at No 1 is definitely not an improvement.
But our days of mounting a solid top 4 challenge are a pipe dream for the foreseeable future imo.
