Call me a pessimist or a miserable git, but potentially £65m for Solanke WTF.

Best of luck to him, and I hope he hits the ground running πŸ‘πŸΎ

But we seem to waste money at Spurs. We are not renowend for massive fees, but when we do take the splash we always buy badly.

N'Dombele
Richarlison
Lo Celso

Those 3 alone probably our biggest transfers and underwhelming is an overstatment.

When we have made a massive signing for us mainly strikers it's been disaster.

Postiga
Rebrov
Soldado
Bent

Those were major strikers for us all duds TBF

A few have paid off, Berbatoov, Keane, Son.

Kane was homegrown.

When u add this to hearing our transfer committee wasn't convinced Luis Suarez could do it in the PL, beggars belief.

Ange signing or not, ours transfer committee sucks compared to others in my opinion.

Let’s wait and see how Ange uses him. I’m hoping he will be the missing part of our attack. We were much better with Richie last year and missed his hood up play when he got injured. Solanke is just as good at the we hold up play but is also rapid. Fingers crossed. If he was anges first choice then spurs have backed the manager

Not convinced about this signing but if he is Anges first choice then who am I too complain.

The more i see him the more i feel he is the best option. We need someone to hold the ball up. The reason we concede so much because Son cannot hold the ball up the ball just comes back with much less passes it took us to get there.

It works in Scotland with Furahashi because the opponent is backing off, sitting deep and the ops get pulled all over creating gaps. If the op gets the ball they lack any quality to counter properly. Will never in a million years work in the premier league where teams have the quality to counter quickly.

Solanke will help the defenders at corners too which we all agree we need.

Solanke looks like he is a great fit to me.

Can we also appreciate Bournemouth full of class in the way they have handled this and announced it.

Watching Bayern game athe above and what you are saying tarrico is playing out. Full backs inverted,2 slow defenders on halfway line in dragusin and Davies, Spence out of position on left and we are getting torn a new one. 1-3 down at half time.two set pieces and caught out playing at the back.

It's quite laughable in a way!

Agreed especially because they will feel his loss massively.

I reckon he will be a decent signing but nobody will ever see it that way because of the ridiculous price tag that he’s not close to being worthy of.

I don't think the price is ridiculous. We've probably overpaid by 10-15m because they obviously didn't want or need to sell. But in terms of what we needed and who is available, it's a sensible transfer.

19 Premier League goals last season for an average team.. if he does that for us he's well worth it.
