For our winger signing if we got Edward's back that would help a lot in that regard, but Eze would also help somewhat.

Basically we need a bunch of Brexit signings.

Can just register a smaller squad can’t we

PL (max 25, max 17 non-HG)
16 non-HG players and 9 HG players
Unlimited u21s

So if you want to buy a senior player you have to cut one already there.

Europe (max 25, 4 Club trained slots, 4 association trained slots, max 17 non-HG)
3 CT
8 AT
17 non-HG
Unlimited u21s who have been at club >2 years.

So you can only name 24 as you are 1 CT short.
You have 28 so need to cut 4 from the 25 AT/non-HG.

Looking at that squad they named that should be easy. And the shortfall of 1 is easily made up with u21s who have been there >2 years rather than buying back deadwood you cut years ago.

no I agree we should just not be registering him and bringing 2 more in

I'll be curious to see if the club agrees with that strategy or if they'll only bring one more in, I hope it's the former.

we also need to be hearing about a Phillips loan too, he currently counts towards the A-List because he's not been at the club for 2 seasons. if he were to stay it would be even more difficult to find the room for new signings

So if Phillips and Davies are left or loaned out, we HAVE to sign player who can play LB & LCB, then a Right Winger.

If we sold Biss or Bents they would need replacing like for like.

And i presume Lankshear and Moore are in as U18s or something and dont count towards the 25

As a slight aside, has Solomon been involved much pre-season. Is he a player we truly want, do you think, or was he just a freebee that is now probably a £10m asset? free money Levy's favourite kind!!

GLC has been a "dog" of a signing and Solomon was just Levy being the shark he is taking advantage of Skaktar's issues... Sell both ASAP

GLC has never stayed consistently fit.

Last season, 4 different spells of injury missing 14 games

Season before 1 spell, missing 12 games

season before that, 3 spells missing 10 games

before that, 4 spells missing 29 games

first season at Spurs, 2 spells of injury missing another dozen games.

It seems that whenever he's has had a chance and a run of games he gets injured and has to start over again trying to get back into the team. Never nailed down a starting spot under 4 managers. Frustrating as he seems to be a regular starter for his country.

with the like of Moore and Lankshear who wont go out on loan i think we have plenty to cover for not filling a full squad for the Ropey league

interesting who else does go out on loan with Donley and Devine also notably doing well

Yeah the club trained stuff is way overblown, you just don't need that many players realistically. Who uses 25 senior players?

Defo something strange about him.....With the exception of the last WC, always seems to be fit for the Argies & i think his injury record with Bettis was OK. He's defo talented and unlike N'Dombele seems like a good pro and good team mate. All very strange. Dunno why he is still at Spurs, we have signed so many attacking midfield players after him who are ahead of him now..... Get rid.. must be costing us a fortune in wages

read somewhere that he's turned down several moves over the last 12 months.
