Think he would have made a decent England manager but i reckon the FA are trying Carsley, short term with a view to trying to tempt Klopp or Pep in a year
Strange move. Seems like a waste of his abilities. I can't believe there wouldn't have been better opportunities out there for him at club level but oh well. I guess with them hosting the next WC you'd expect them to do quite well under him.

Great coach but a fecking terrible judge when it comes to choosing his next step. PSG > Chelsea > USA. WTF?
For me his abilities aren't in question. He's just been completely ruined by two cartoon clubs in PSG and Chelsea. It's a real shame. Let's be honest, Chelsea were beginning to cook under him last year so he's still got it as far as I'm concerned.
If things went tiiiits up with Ange in a couple of years, I'd still take Poch back but that's just not gonna happen now.

I wouldn't bother Dev. They won't listen. I've argued against Poch haters for years. They just won't have it that he's a decent coach.
It's delusional and frankly ignorant to downplay his talents. We've been nowhere near the same level since he left yet he's completely disrespected by a large portion of the fan base. They've dreamt up this idea he should have done more with the brilliant squad he had without having the intelligence to realise that he made them all collectively brilliant. We didn't achieve those heights in spite of Poch, we achieved them because of him. A lot of those 'brilliant' players were on our books before he turned up and didn't really pull up any trees until he stepped through the door.

What the feck do you know? You're a Liverpool fan. you don't have the first clue what team he picked up in 2014 and what team he left us with in 2019. I would have thought a fan of a side whose manager can make a team greater than the sum of its parts would understand the job Pochettino did at Spurs. What he did at Spurs is comparable with Klopp at Liverpool. The only difference is that your owners backed Klopp. Ours didn't. Or couldn't, supposedly, because of the new stadium.

Is it? Wasn't amazing at Southampton. Did well with us. Average to poor at PSG. Did nothing to win the fans over at Chelsea. He's now the USA coach. I think it's a bit delusional and ignorant to act as if he's beyond criticism

He lived it, breathed it, read every column inch, watched and re-watched all the games, went to games, pored over reports and analysis, formed an opinion on who should start, what players and positions we needed to strengthen etc, like the rest of us Spurs boys.
To suggest Hoody is any less informed on every minutia of everything Spurs from 2014 to 2019 is ridiculous. It's probably his Mastermind specialist subject, right ?
