There are still a few people on here defending this shhtte.

People saying they are not asset stripping, the 49ers have made Leeds the biggest selling club in the WHOLE of European football.

We have now sold over 120million of footballing assets this summer. Joke

I mentioned yesterday that there was a stat doing the
rounds that we had sold the second highest amount
of all european clubs. 49ers must've seen it too and
figured fck this, we want to be number 1.

For me this one hurts even more than Gray and Summerville. I really like Rutter and think if hes managed correctly he could be a world star. Brighton will probably sell him on for 100 m in a few years.

I hate to say I told you so but… so many questions re this ownership which I raised last year not least why they need a gaggle of sports stars to invest and how they try and pretend they had no involvement with the contentious issues.

We really need to stop giving each owner a free pass.

Yes Jonty you are fully justified in your scepticism of the 49ers ownership model as it appears to be all smoke and mirrors like previous regimes only in it for the short term gain they can make and all we can hope for now is Red Bull will eventually take the reigns and at least give the club a better foundation for success but unless a glut of quality new signings arrive The 49ers have let every Leeds fan down and the sooner they eff off the better.

I’ll admit I’ve been surprised by 49ers. I thought and hoped they’d be better.

I’m really struggling to see what the game plan is here. The sale of Archie Gray was sad but to me was logical. Big fee, actual impact on the team was low and sorted us out to keep hold of the key players. But given we’ve now sold Summerville and looking like Rutter…that reasoning doesn’t work.

We absolutely need to go up this season, year 3 will be even harder with lower parachute payments. But feels like we’re starting from scratch again, we need to sign 2 players to replace Cree and Rutter and they need to hit the ground running

We can't replace Rutter. He's a one off type.
We need to sign 2 players to replace Cree.

49ers have 16 days? To add 6 new players
of quality. Otherwise, this season's done.

We need about 5 players for this squad! Squad is depleted.

I suspect Paarag Cellino will hide as per, rather than come clean and answer difficult questions!

Farke will just use this as an excuse now and I think it’ll buy him more time.

Had he done what he should have done and got arguably the best squad in the league promoted we wouldn't be at this juncture. Shambles on and off the field

I’m just completely deflated, depressed and disillusioned! No hope at all for this season now.

Should have signed players before letting them go. Now clubs know we have money and know we're desperate

Barge Ipswich aside and get Smozdics in, pay them what they want, unless we wanna sell Ampadu and Rodon next season when we don't go up again.

We've now sold 235 million quid's worth of players
in just two seasons. We're the yin to Chelsea's yang.

How depressed is Bogle right about now?

It often comes back to a phrase' how do other clubs cope?' We saw it with likes of Villa, Brighton, Brentford in their approach to recruitment and you see it with rival clubs coming down and going straight back up at the first or second time of asking with no fuss and calm targeted logical recruiting.

We always seem to have complexity and a huge degree of sentiment involved in our strategy. Other clubs are clinical and efficient and just get the job done. Ironically this also seems to play out on the field too.

If it is not right off the field it always finds it's way on to the pitch.

Sentiment is why we have to keep watching Bamford
rob time and money in the #9 shirt. Other clubs would've
recognized he was toast three seasons ago and done
something about it. That falls on the 49ers now.

Only thing that is giving me hope is we have got a large amount of fees for those three. Hoping we go on a big spending spree. Although nothing at the moment suggests this is likely
