This is a tough fixture, I cannot see us getting a result here. 2-0 West Brom, unfortunately, which will just highlight the idiocy of the owners sitting on their hands and not bringing players in.

Right now, I couldn’t give a flying fecckk whether we win 10-0, lose 15-0 or draw 20-20. I honestly couldn’t give a tosss. I will do something else with my day rather than waste it watching that ferrucking club. Whether or not my attitude towards the club changes, we shall see.

My fear is Gnonto.

His pal Cry has just been selected for the Dutch squad, he was pressing for a move last year and it went sour at first. Seeing his buddy's career on the up and his stalling in our second tier, with little or no chance of a move, if the powers that be are to be believed. His Azzuri chances look slim, that is really going to hurt - will be interesting to see how he responds.

Huge game now to try and calm the reaction down amongst the fan base. I don’t think that the sale of Rutter & Summerville looks nearly as bad on the owners as the majority. I expected it to happen as I was walking away from Wembley in May. It’s the cost of relegation and the cost of not going up…and the cost of the loan clauses that were the real problem.

There’s no excuse not to be spending upwards of £40m on the top players available for our situation. We need 4 minimum and we cannot afford another Piroe disappointment. We should have replaced Summerville by now.

He could go with Aaronson or Piroe in place of Rothwell but I’m assuming he will go with the most conservative option and worry about not conceding 3 goals before anything else. I’m not sure Rothwell has the skill set to cause many problems that high up though. His passing and movement looks better suited to having the pitch ahead of him and a bit more space. We shall see.

Should be a side capable of winning the game, I’m sure West Brom would love to have the majority of those players in their side. But I fear we are up against a better manager who will get more out of his side. Much like the play off final.

I will be in the pub watching on the big screen in the same place I was when we somehow pulled it off against Brentford to survive. You never know.

Win here and spend £40m well in the next two weeks and we can win the league. Lose here, fans lose their 💩 and no one wants to come…… well we know how long it can take to come back when you miss out on a quick return.

We must spend a minimum of 40 million to bring in the 4 players at least that are needed.

We should have signed 2,3 extra players by now minimum. Many are angry as we have been left with such a small squad. I think the Rutter sale hurts more because if his talent and who he is. I wasn't as fussed when Summerville went as i thought we'd sign a replacement for him. Now we need two attackers. As well as everything else.

Need a win to pick everyone up, feel very hacked off with the club right now its hard not to want to just give up tbh. Should be excited about seeing new signings every week, but the side is far less exciting with Rutter and Summerville in it. 1-1

You can feel the anger and frustration reading the commemts.

Been down this road so many times, thought we finally had competent owners but seems nothing has changed.

Expecting a loss, of some kind.

Morale will be low with big players leaving and a few others (Gnonto) will be looking at the exit too now.

We have to be honest with ourselves here. It was always a big ask holding on to Archie, Cree and Rutter. What we now have is a true Championship side. Some potential, mainly solid and a couple of glaring weaknesses.
I am going to base my prediction on Gnonto trying desperately show how much he deserves Premier League football, and on the sad fact that we will concede avoidable goals.
3-2 to the mighty Whites providing their keeper, Palmer, has the off-day he owes us. Gnonto hat-trick will steal the headlines, though. ALAW!
