Well said Lex. Hope your optimism is well placed 🍀👍

A lot can happen before the end of the transfer window. We've just one fit striker and are losing our best midfielder, possibly two. We have a two man defence and a board that like to spend the minium amount on promising project transfers.

Remove MOR's goals and assists from last season, we would've probably lost the league. The same could be said for Idah. We were lucky Rangers collapsed.

When CCV, Calmac and Hatate were injured and MOR was off the boil, we were scheite.

The Celtic board need to sober up and start spending some cash on good players, a LB, LCB, two midfielders and another striker. Only when they've done that, will I feel confident for the rest of the season.

To be fair, we have been good in the first couple of games.

Inextricably linked with the close of the transfer window.....revisit this question on August 31st imho

I don’t see us losing anyone but O’Reilly and I think Ideh will score more than Kyogo when the season ends. Sorry for using an old fashioned saying but I don’t think we will ‘sit on our laurels’ this season I think we will invest in a 1 or 2 decent signings before the window closes. I am of the opnion like the Goalkeeper project we will start to sign players that are ready to mentor their eventual replacement

I think that you are a cocky scheidt

Can't see past Celtic winning the league.

We're a shambles at the moment.

That said the more player turnover you have the better for us, difficult to replace O'Riley with the money you will spend.

Kyogo to City i found laughable at first but seems like there is actually some interest there. Wasn't up to the standards he set last season so i'd still be surprised if that happened.

At some point Rodgers will lose the players, it's happened everywhere he's been but for us to have a chance we need a hell of a lot of things to line up for us.

Us to make minimum 3 good signings.
Celtic to replace their key players badly.
Brenda's usual 3rd season fall off to come early.

Good. The very definition of dead wood. Assume Lagerbloke and Rocki will be gone this month as well. One should never have been signed, and BR clearly doesn’t fancy the other. Slowly managing to offload the utter dross from recent windows.

always though rocky looked alright, he's just too injury prone though.

Aye had a few decent enough appearances, but for a long time now he's not even making the bench when fit, with Welshy preferred. If that's not a sign you've no future at the club then I don't know what is.

Our recent CB recruitment hall of shame ... Kobayashi, Lagerbloke, Rocki, and utter donkey Nat Phillips on loan ... WTF were our scouts thinking during that spell?!! Could have been worse though ... at least we missed out on Ben Davies.

Nawrocki was signed to be back up to CCV and Starfelt not a starter and certainly not back up to Scales

We will win the title Rangers are laughable at this moment in time.
Weve been decent first few games though i think performances have dropped slightly in each consecutive game.
The CL will be tough were simply not at that level.
The board get a lot of stick but the model works domestically yes we would all love us to go out and sign established players in the 10 to 15 million pound bracket which we CAN afford but they won't want to come to Scotland !!

Feels like it could all change rather quickly.

If we lose o'rielly and hatate then that leave us with zero creativity and our board will do nothing about it.

If only our board had more ambition and sign 3 quality players for 10m each we could kick on and be out of sight.

As it is I see it being a topsy turvy season with us slight favourites.

Thats what I really dont get from our board.

They have the opportunity and the finances to kick on but are scared to do it.

They are not suited to running a football club where its all about taking risks.

I cant think of any other football board out there that sits on the kind of money we have. All of them at least reinvest it.

you mitigate risks by ensuring the correct due diligence is done when spending.
