Winning trophies is so outdated. This is the kind of thing clubs want to win these days. We're number 1!!!

Hmmm.. Music to Levy's ears I suspect.

Can't deny the stadium is great and the efforts for sustainability and community improvement are impressive but I think Id have been happy with top 4 in the "Best Run League" and perhaps a league cup ?

Too much to ask ? or am I being overly negative ?

There's just something too "nice" about Spurs....Its a wonderful experience for everyone but I'm not sure we have much of a competitive/winners mentality... Feels more like a theatre company than a football club

We never quite get the balance right

Says it all

The fact a mess like Man United came 2nd probably says everything about the validity of this study

Well run as a business, certainly
As a football club, not so much

posted on 22/8/24

what that tells you is that your club massively underperform.

with the money and the business side being much more successful than the team on the pitch.

Spurs are more of a business than a football team. its there to make money before winning stuff.

I`d rather be the worst run club and picking up regular silverware.

This is where Levy excels, running a business, unfortunately he is next to useless at running a football club.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club that was, has now been turned into ENIC FC, it now exists solely to create wealth for our investment company owners, silverware and glory are only a very minor concern.

Levy knows he doesn`t need silverware to grow the brand and increase the value of his investment, he can achieve that through property developments and infrastructure opportunities.

Tottenham Hotspur is a huge brand but a mediocre football operation.

Levy out.

This is the sort of 'success' that makes Levy cream in his knickers. From our perspective, that's not success. We couldn't give a shiiiit how well run we are. It's not about that for anyone but the money men.

Turn that 'success' into trophies and you've got a deal. In the meantime, Daniel, if you do get awards of this kind, maybe keep it quiet because no one fecking cares. Making grand acceptance statements just annoys us because it further demonstrates where the focus really lies - wealth.

No one has read the article have they. This isn't to do with how well the club is run to line Levy's pockets, this is to do with ESG and the impact the cub has. It's nothing to do with the success of the football team (which I know is the be all and end all) but I don't see this as a bad thing.

Lets be honest, Tottenham isn't exactly the best part of London is it, but if the club has made a positive impact on even a small part, how is that a bad thing. I know we live in a selfish age but to dismiss this impact is ridiculous.

I imagine if you ask any local who is benefitting from the stadium and the effort the club puts in to the community, they'd all be very grateful.

But yeah, I get it, it's not a Carabao Cup.
