Europa League over Premier League?

When you won the UEFA Cup it was the 3rd tier competition anyway - and certainly nowhere near as prestigious as winning the English league twice.

Nice attempt at coping after Mondays dismal draw though.

I get where you’re coming from tbh. I wouldn’t have the Europa above the Prem, but I would rather win the CL than the league personally.

Should have a good chance of the Europa this season, plus going deep in the competition may help give 5th place in the league CL qualification too.

We can tell all about winning the Europa (or any cup) all we want, but we have been here so many times before and we all know where it ends. It's a constant cycle.

I wonder how much Ange will value it and what he sees as the more important competitions. He's talked of his desire to win stuff so maybe he'll take it seriously. He didn't exactly take the League Cup seriously and we should have been all over the domestic cups without Europe last year.

There absolutely has to be better performances in the cups though. I think most of us would agree that we'd rather win Europa than finish 4th, providing we aren't miles down the table. That might have been different years ago for Spurs fans but not anymore. It's all about winning something.

I would love us to win it or the FA Cup, and i hope we give it a really good go and get a bit of luck on the way....hell lets win both

League > CL > Europa > FA Cup for me.

I really like the Europa and was gutted when we went out.

But we have no chance to win the league but the Europa we have a minimal chance to win and it gets everyone what they want.

The fans get a trophy & levy gets the champion league money.

I’m talking from the clubs point of view. Cup competitions will never be prioritised sadly.
