Leeds Utd winning a football game will outweigh
any of the surrounding nonsense.

^^^

True. However, the nonsense is basically an ownership
group who promised a big game. Then fell flat as a fart.
Don't care what any other club's fans say, we are a
massive club. We all want this club to reach it's full
potential. We all see it. Fans I mean. It's frustrating.

But, back to your point, wins are brilliant. Hopefully,
the Niners deliver the additional players we need and
Farke destroys the league.

Honestly mate - we could lose a player every week for the next 10, keep winning I wouldn’t care. That ‘s ultimately what we care about..

I agree but the problem is that the winning won’t happen with the squad we have.

Farke putting two keepers on the bench was a middle finger to the owners. They need need to extract theirs this week or last night will soon be a distant dream.

Feeling much more positive after that performance though.

That’s the biggest concern. Lose a player now like Gnonto or James to a bad injury and suddenly we could be dropping regular points. We’ve a tough start to the season in paper, so it’s vital. The clock is ticking and we need more squad depth in the next 7 days…

How good our first team is on the pitch isn’t the point - we have an alarmingly small squad so when the injuries kick in, as it were, we’ll be f@cked. Marathe must not be seduced by one good performance and excellent win - he MUST invest in more key players.

The Championship is one of those divisions where you think you have enough depth and everything is fine until it isn't. 13 wins out of 14 going into March international break. 3 or 4 come back with injuries, and a little bit of a loss in form and confidence and that's where your options to change it up really kick in to get you over the line and we didn't have that.

It is such a crucial season and potentially our last big chance to get out of it whilst we still have some parachute payments, legacy players from the premiership and others who'll give it another year. That's way it is so important we don't leave ourselves short. Third place won't cut it as we saw last season. I'd say it has to be top 2 and the dealings in the market need to reflect that.

We also need to be able to assess again in January and if necessary use that window as an opportunuity to finish the job. Not easy to do but others have managed it.

I know what you mean and am with you in spirit … but methinks squad strengthening is crucial for auto aspirations.

Get what your trying to say but in reality If we lost a player every week for the next 10 we would be left with a bunch of teenagers playing. We wouldnt win every game and be lucky to stay up.
