Morning All.

Sure I read Everton have only got 14 fit players but after their huge loss last week you would think they would put in more effort this week.

Up early Sizzle....did you wet the bed

Always rough vs a Dyche team. This one is riddled with injuries so we can expect the lowest of low blocks and an aerial bombardment at every opportunity.

They'll.be looking for free kicks anywhere within 60 yards of our goal and launching it. It will be a test of our defence in an area that is supposed to be our weakness.

If we do not look organised or prepared for this then it will look very bad on the coaching staff and Ange should rightly face some tough questions.

We know what to expect from EFC so Yes we have to play our game but fail to prepare, then prepare to fail.

Ugly one-sided game which will be tight but has massive Smash & Grab potential.

Either we win this one..... or
Aussieglue is going to feel the pain because......
we'll lose the next two games.

Like last week, no excuses really. Rumours the club will not be buying another number 6 so Ange must think Gray is ready and is actually a number 6. So in light of Biss being an idiot, I expect Gray to start. Otherwise it will be a starting 11 with zero new signings in. Which means we should get a gage on how much the squad has improved under ange’s coaching since we last couldn’t beat this lot.

I said all summer that I can see the same old problems in the team. Same weaknesses and unfortunately, in the whole, same players.

Richie didn’t play at all in preseason so he will be rusty if he starts.

This will be a struggle for me. But Ange and the club seem satisfied with the squad so I hope I’m completely wrong and we thump them.

Morning Sizzle et all

Benta and Solanke both out out for this one.

Everton will target the wobbly knees Vic on corners today like they did last season and scored from his fluffyness

DId see on yesterday's training video both keepers were being trained on being shoved around corners

Hopefully we defend solidly today. Maybe more protection for Vic too.

Hope to see both Gray and Bergvall today, they are a very exciting youngsters!

Maybe a goal or two for Richie??

Lets do this! COYS

Sounds realistic but I have absolutely no idea how this is gonna go. I could see us winning 4-0, getting thumped by Everton and everything in between.

Morning Sizz.

The "must win" games have come early for us this season. We really have to beat Everton and get this season up and running. You want some momentum going into the tougher games. Failure to get 3 points could generate a bad feeling in the team and the fans and that's the last thing you want when facing Newcastle and Arsenal. Can you imagine us losing to Arsenal at home in our 4th game and not having picked up a win yet? Could get toxic.

Think we’ll win today, first home game and Everton are pretty $hite.

Also hoping our “forwards” can capitalise on Maddison’s efforts whilst he’s in this mood, cause it ain’t gonna last all season!

I think we'll win also but then I thought we'd beat Leicester.

It should be a win and a clean sheet, that's what it should be anyway.

Despite my natural Spursy pessimism, if I had to bet on today's result I would back a Spurs win. Objectively this is the most likely result. Of course anything can happen though, particularly with Spurs.

Luckily Everton have mountain of injuries and are not the most in-form of sides, but they do use set-pieces well (Manager's strength) and are happy to sit back and take a draw or a flukey win. Our fans want to win, and win well with flair and constant attacks.

A flukey 1-0 or 2-1 win will only add to unease that is bound surround the team before some tough games.

A good win with fluent attacking play should be what the doctor is demanding....In coming Dr Spurs

I wouldn't put it past us to snatch another draw from the brink of victory.

Whatever happens we're in a for a hell of a season when the band Catfish and the Bottlemen will be performing at the stadium in August 2025.

Can you really think of a more apt name for Levy and his pals? Are they taking the p!ss out of supporters or what?

You couldn't make it up.
