I anticipated no changes, unless there were any injuries we didn't know about. Especially after last Monday's second half. Probably learn a bit more today. I don't see us scoring more than one, maybe two, so need to stop them scoring no more than two if we are to get anything. well, those are my thoughts.

As expected, would be happy with a point.

Not quite sure what Ricardo has done to upset Mr 20%. Barely featured in pre-season and now benched twice.

Unless he has a niggle or he's being eased in due to his previous injury record, it's unfathomable. The guy stayed with us last season in a league he was several levels above and learned a brand new position that was alien to him but became an integral part of the formation. Now he's lost his place to one full back who barely looked Championship standard last season, and another who buggered off on loan.

He's technically our best player probably and shouldn't be wasting on the bench of the worst team in the league with misfits and deadbeats like Danny Ward and Bouba Soumare.

Definitely a gap between defending and moving out
Nobody to recive the ball as clearing defence

It’s because of his defensive positioning. For all intents and purposes Ricardos best position is full back. Amazing going forward, technically excellent, defensively too culpable for too many goals over the years - notably during our relegation season.

Now that said - I still think Cooper is wrong here. What Ricardo gives you as an attacking option is worth the risk - but it’s Cooper - he wants a safety option at right back and won’t entertain playing Ricardo in what he perceives is out of position

I think he’s got it completely wrong with Mavididi as well who should be starting ahead of BDR

Justin pulled out of position
Almost a good save

Fairly predictable really. Don’t look like scoring but when you don’t bother signing any creative players of actual quality then the result is inevitable

Rumours are Winks might be being sold before deadline day. Which would explain the Skipp signing

Awful just about sums this game up

Ultimately it doesn’t matter what manager we have - the squad isn’t good enough to stay up. Even Pep wouldn’t keep this squad up. That’s not to let Cooper off the hook, he’s way too negative, but ultimately the dye was cast in the summer. This is Top and Rudkins relegation - it belongs to no one else

No actually that’s not quite right - it belongs to TB and Mersey as well - two loyal supporters of the board

I would have thought if Winksy is about to be sold he would not have started today ? to save him from potential injury. However this is LCFC.
At this stage I wouldn't be against trading Winks in for a more creative player.

The regression under Cooper is frightening. 99, I get what you are saying about Top and Rudkin owning this mess and they certainly should, but the set up and tactics under Cooper are just plain wrong.

Defensive, low block, backs against the wall and hold on for grim life - it's just awful, awful football. Worse than anything under Maresca at his worse, at least we had some intent even during the blip. What Cooper is producing is some of the grimmest, most turgid, most regressive and most passive football we have seen since Gary Megson.

This season was always going to be tough and it probably wouldn't matter who was the manager, as there is a grim inevitability about this. You can't honestly say we wouldn't be at least playing better football under Potter or Corberan. He has taken away the best aspects of Hermansen, Vestergaard, Ricardo and Winks from last season and left us with this empty husk of nothingness.

I have no doubt that Cooper is behind the Skipp, Ayew and Reid signings. For that reason alone I am sceptical of him. But unless we start to see something vaguely resembling a football team in the next few games, I am going to be firmly planting my flag in the Cooper Out camp, because this is just unacceptable.

No I think the idea is the trade has already been done. Skipp for Winks - If the club believes it can get £25m plus for Winks who presumably is on higher wages than Skipp.

Could be a load of nonsense of course but I cannot see Leicester having the finances to have both of them

I read somewhere last couple of days Winks is the second highest earner behind JV.
