Do we need wingers, is one leaving?
I remember him ripping us apart a couple of years ago whilst playing for Fulham. Can re-produce that kinda form and his injury recording hasn’t be too great for spurs lately either. Gamble but one that could have a huge impact if it works

Think we could use some depth even if no one leaves. Next a 10 and a lb.

Hoping it's Gelhardt
No option for permanent as they rate him that highly. Rusky one as he's injury prone and could end up like another Spence. Sallai of Freiburg could be next, another winger. Not many others linked atm
Hoping that Gnonto may play centrally at times and not be leaving
Wober being linked to loan move to Germany
Apparently wont pay the 6 mil for Ljubicic even though the player wants to join
Cooper set to join Hull for free
Thought he was off to that club in Iran

Agree with this. Let him roam. Free Willy!! Sorry!
Ooh I see we are now linked with Chair at QPR and really hope this rumour has legs because with him on our side and our 2 latest additions plus possibly Aarrons from Bournmouth and Gnonto staying and playing like a 1990 Paul Gasgoine dare I even think we'll actually be a better more entertaining side than last season????
No I mustn't start thinking silly things like Leeds are actually getting their house in order and there's nothing to feel stressed about that wouldn't be Leeds at all but I suppose there's always a first time.
Also I noticed Sumnerville got no game time today Rutter about 6 or 7 minutes and Archie about 20 mins so I wonder if Gnonto looks at that and thinks an EPL move will probably not guarantee me that much game time and opportunity to impress but at Leeds and with those star players gone he can shine more get a virtually guaranteed starting place each week and be part of a successful promotion campaign????....we'll see what develops in the coming days but I reckon most Leeds fans will be chuffed to bits if he is starting on Saturday.
My ideal squad size is 23 not including youth players.
2 players per position and a third choice keeper.
Add to that maybe three or four youth players who you can dip in and out of the squad when you need and to me that's a good solid squad.
Two games a week 50 plus games a season, our style is so dependent on workers that to me having 4 of them makes perfect sense

we're desperate to get rid of him, there's probably no permanent option because you couldn't agree a wage package with him. he's on about 70k a week

Thanks for insight, why desperate to get rid?
because he's just not very good, pretty telling that we're trying to cut bait before he's even had a run of games.
He started our first pre season game and then based on his performances he ended up not even getting on the pitch for the last couple of games, 16 year old Mikey Moore moved ahead of him in the pecking order and came off the bench instead of him for the last 2 pre season games against Bayern Munich.
He's 25 so it's not like he's a youngster we're looking to get some minutes, we want him off our books and a loan is the best we can do at the minute given how little he's played in the last year. At championship level he'll probably do alright but he's probably the worst player in our squad currently.

I work with a Spurs fan. Good player, injuries ruined his chances at Spurs and now too many options ahead of him in the pecking order. I would imagine that they are more desparate to simply get the wage bill off the books for someone not likely to get a run in the team.
