I didnt want Clarke back, so have no problems with this.

I really wanted Jack and Szmodics (scored in Prem) here. Seeing Ipswich sign both was another
kick in the nuts over last season's failure.

But, no way we could compete for either. It seems.

Not sure the fee was an issue but competing on wages might be.

Anyway I think Ipswich might need him more than we do 😉

I'd have taken Szmodics, not Clarke.

Dont think wages should be an issue, we have miles bigger revenues, parachute payments, and just raked £130m of sales
