Mex mentioned on Twitter Chiesa got injured after Euro 2020 and suffered a loss of form.
A change may be what he needs though. He was touted as an £80m player back then if I recall.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He did his ACL, then on returning he had something like 12 injuries.
However last season was mostly injury free making over 30 serie an appearances scoring 9 goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll get him back in that treatment room in no time

Something we are well equiped at. Don't we have a homegrown issue? Sancho for him will be the complete opposite.
Sancho and Felix. Chelsea home for misfits and strays.

Now that Pellistri has gone we have one spare non-homegrown slot.
Assuming that goes to Ugarte, we’d need to shift (or just not register) Lindelof or Hannibal to allow another to be registered.
Don't think another wide forward is needed. We have 4 and others who can play there.

Likely pie-in-the-sky Football Manager stuff anyway, but I wouldn’t mind Rashford, Garnacho, Chiesa and Amad as our wide options.
It wouldn't hurt to have another option and an attacker who can provide more of a constant threat especially out wide and 1v1 and can perform and produce a little more consistently than our other options because none of them do any of that with any regularity.
All the teams we're supposed to be competing with have at least one player who performs and offers an end product most weeks.
His two-footedness would be an advantage as well. The only downside is his frequent injury issues although they don't keep him out for long periods tbf.
Isn't Rabiot a free agent? Worth a punt? I know this has been done to death with most opposed mainly due to the baggage he carries, his toxic mother/agent being the main one but the player has the right skill sets we need. Only other red flag would be his wage demands.
Chiesa wants Liverpool move!
More on Federico Chiesa exclusive story.
Understand Chiesa has given his full availability to join Liverpool after initial talks.
He’s excited about this possibility and contract won’t be an issue.
Juventus want Chiesa to leave and asking price is around €15m.
Deal ON.
