I have never known a ground to be so empty of any atmosphere or passion in my life (and home fans of course) - its embarrassing to say the least!

One must wonder what its like when they play Fulham

Are we really in a position to mock attendance or atmosphere?

I don't use any other forum site apart from this one - this is exactly why, they don't really debate footie instead trade some of the worst insults I have seen - and blank out their swear words.

I didn't realise that the pie eaters got so worked up about Bolton.

Just shows they know we are superior to them. The same goes for the six fingered Dingles from Burnley.

I was deeply insulted last time I went to the JJB. Some fat pie eater told me to sod off back to my corner shop. Funny that, last time I checked I didnt own one and I don't possess a tan.

I'm sorry but no decent, self respecting Claret would support Wigin . I agree with Moses, the footymad forums are full of wum's. Rebel don't drop yourself to the level of the morons who post on there.

Have to agree with wrexham claret (and Moses too ... OMG! It had to happen sometime though )

A few folk will never agree with OC moving to a bigger club when the opportunity arose (hurt a bit more because it was another local club too, no doubt) but to carry it on for so long, and to pretend to be bezzy mates wi' t' pie-eaters for the sake of it, is strictly one for the WUMS and morons

Oh lord and I thought it got infantile on here sometimes. JA606Admin, I swear never to doubt you again when you say you are tougher than many other boards. Thank the good lord above that I am not and never will be a member of that sad pathetic excuse for a supporter's forum.

i look forward to blackburn more, a proper lancs derby with 2 teams with real fans and a real atmoshphere home or away.

We're not rivals and our games are usually awful. If I were you I would choose another game to look forward to.

Go to Wigan? I'd rather stick a toothpick under my toenail and kick a brick wall.

Always manages to get televised once a season though, and one pundit will inevitably refer to it as a 'lancashire hotpot'...

They always refer to it as a Lancashire hotpot, despite the fact Bolton is apart of Greater Manchester not Lancashire.

Bit of research before a game wouldn't go a miss.

let me get one thing sorted...

bolton v blackburn IS our derby...we are both in the premier league, came up at the same time and, although our games are usually pretty dire (like most derbys are) there has always been a good atmosphere.

blackburn are NOT boltons rivals in the sense that we have an age old local rivaly going back years - we dont. however, as we are the only 2 local teams (not including wigan who i stated earlier are a nothing club) in the same league and have been for many years now, the premiership 'lancashire derby' (i dont buy in to this greater manchester carp) is bolton v blackburn.

i know blackburns real rivals are burnley and always will be.

i know boltons main rivals are and always will be bury.

but as these 2 teams play in the lower leagues now, the only chance of our proper 'derbies' is in the cups or pre season...

all i was saying is that i look forward to playing blackburn, it has a proper derby atmosphere, when we play wigan it dosen't....

this is an article about blackburn, wigan, bolton and burnley...you obviously came to our bored looking for a hook with a worm to bite on....

I like the Bolton Rovers fixture.

Some of the games are fantastic and admittedly some can be very dire. However at least there is usually bit of 'fire' in the game ie red cards/penaties/penalty misses etc. Usually a decent bit of banter as well without the hatred of the Burnley game.

Proper clubs with proper fans.

Bolton is apart of greater Manchester. It was apart of Lancashire in the past but hasn't been for a number of years.

Sorry HH, I simply refuse to accept that. Any Bolton fan should do the same.
