Celtic vs Rangers

The Celtic players mostly looked like they were enjoying their day. The Rangers players don’t seem to want to be there. Someone said to me during the game they actually feel sorry for Tavernier. He should have been put out to pasture before now and yet he’s thrown into a fixture he no longer has the legs for time and time again, and then screamed at when he doesn’t have the legs for it.

He seems like an alright guy. The fans at Ibrox having a pop at him were out of order. He doesn’t pick himself.

There were so many positive performances for us today-Maeda’s work rate was just immense though. You could write a million words about the differences between the 2 teams today-none of them would reflect negatively on Celtic.

CalMac was the same. Sky showed his touch-map (ooer) afterwards. Would have been easier to point out where he hadn’t been.

He was outstanding today-especially against that midfield. Barron is getting hailed as rangers best player this season. That’s the same Barron who couldn’t hold down a starting slot in the Aberdeen team that finished bottom 6.

Then you’ve got Sterling-the guy that can play anywhere. I’m assuming that’s meant to be anywhere that doesn’t have a football near it. And then there was Diomande. A rolls Royce of a player. Think some folk can’t tell their rolls Royce from their Lada.

Thought mcCowan looked better than engels in their brief cameos

I think mccowan might well be the surprise package for celtic

I'm delighted we've signed him

Also ...the lad rangers brought on ..igname? Showed more in 5 mins than dessers or corny did all Game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. I reckon McCowan will prove to be a bargain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about Maeda as well

I'm sure we all have but imagine being his wife .? Just wanting to goto sleep and he's back for more

He was pretty incredible today and that's without having any real quality going on
Such an important player in these games
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Id imagine he starts in his wife but ends up on the floor and vibrating a way none the wiser

Congrats to Celtic. We were poor.

Big Phil was banging on about the 2 “big chances” they missed in the opening 10-12 mins … the 2 that were actually offside, aye? Missing those really affected the outcome, aye?

BTW on that subject, still not convinced our “opener” was offside. Looked a seriously marginal/iffy VAR call to me, altho I’m sure Dallas didn’t take long to convince himself it was off.

He's starting to unravel.

Clemente is like a Tory candidate just trounced in an election and anyone with a brain can see that.

he's an oddball to be honest.

i've seen celtic struggle to break down teams who sit in deep, so of course the correct answer was to give us a schit-ton of space to exploit on the counter.

As enjoyable as yesterday was, looking back we wasted a good number of gilt edged opportunities to score a few more.

We won’t get away with that in Europe against better sides. As daft as it may sound, we need to be far more clinical in front of goal and on that note; Idah looks way off the pace. Ran about like a three legged donkey in a bath of treacle when he came on.

i think this will be a poor buy for the money spent to be honest.

still early doors, but i'd like to see more from him than he is currently showing.

said yesterday at the match, kyogo is the best striker we have had since larsson. we have had player who score goals but his movement, the way he reads the game, its just on another level. it blows my mind people in our support would prefer idah.

I said that Idah looked unfit and no sharpness when he came on

Hatate sitter, Kyogo one on one and Bernardo opting to try beat more players instead of shoot and it could have been 5

Not seen him before JFK but he is a heart attack waiting to happen. He was fuming at 2 minutes. Paddy was laughing away at him.

5 minutes into the game he is screaming "snap his fvckin legs, always hated that cvnt"

He was talking about Cerny!!!

my dads pal and his lad were meant to be next to me but i think went to sit with their pals instead. so i had 3 seats all to myself. naturally i sat in the middle.

i was sitting next to him at first, but moved after 30 seconds. Could smell the rice crispy teeth off his lads.
