Just can’t see that at all to be honest. I genuinely think he needs at least another couple of windows and even then they’ll only be of use if he has money to spend.
Once again this £10m black hole every season that just had to be plugged through player trading has been binned already. It’s just been ignored so again that black hole continues season on season.
They’ve no real saleable assets and it appears no further funding. I’ve heard yet another share offering is being mooted. It’s a huge financial pit and I just don’t see anything changing for the better for the many time soon.
In so saying I’m not buying into some warped sense of continual dominance for years and years ahead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Overnight is metaphorical but a change in ownership or league or us appointing a diddy again or the death of Desmond and it’s fallout and momentum can swing albeit the current financial advantage looks unassailable as theirs once did. We’ve both lived through two 9iar and much else we never expected. All I’m saying.
Willie Collum has had some impact eh.
We seem to have went from forensically scrutinising almost every decision, in UHD, from a multitude of camera angles … to the occasional camcorder shot from 300m away?
Nothing to see here. Move along!

Diomande red for punching AJ.
Kyogo's goal was onside.
Defender's handball in the box, just before Engels is tackled through the back.
I wonder why VAR missed all that...

Aye we did win at a canter, but it doesn’t make those decisions any less questionable … altho no-one was expecting any different with Andrew Dallas on VAR, as was made abundantly clear before KO. To be fair, he did his best to keep the score down, but the gulf was too great to affect the result.
I couldn’t remember the handball claim, and just watched a clip of it. I’m assuming this is the ‘new’ interpretation of handball for a penalty, which is fair enough as long as it’s applied consistently. Only seen one angle of it, but it looks like Souttar’s arms are outstretched and he stops a shot at goal, which was normally a deal breaker for a penalty. The challenge on Engels again on the replay looks a stick on-again, from the angle I’ve seen.
Would have expected the recommendation would have been for Beaton to review the incidents himself at least.
On Beaton-he’s such a poor ref. 2 incidents he pulled play back for Celtic when the obvious decision should have been to play the advantage. One of them, he delayed blowing his whistle that long I thought it was full time. Thought Jefte was a yellow card, but no idea why he felt he had to point out other incidents that he clearly wasn’t involved in, unless he was suggesting that his foul was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

From todays Times on line, sums up the sad claims from Clemente and Souness about possession stats:
Celtic were happy to sit off, waiting for the inevitable turnovers from which they could — and would — exploit the space in behind. There were indeed spells where Rangers saw plenty of the ball, but it was largely pointless, non-threatening possession; safe five- or ten-yard shuttles between the centre backs, John Souttar and Robin Propper, the goalkeeper Jack Butland and the deepest-lying central midfielder, Connor Barron.

OK if you are going to moan about decisions at least acknowledge it went both ways.
The majority of the Rangers bookings were nonsense.
Kyogo throwing himself into Sterling and acting like he had been shot when Sterling literally did nothing wrong.
The look of complete befuddlement on Lawrences face said it all when he was booked for just existing really.
Dessers with his mouth clearly bleeding as a result of the treatment he was getting that was going unpunished complains to the ref and he gets booked for having the audacity to ask for a bit of action.
It took Igamane to nearly have his shirt ripped off his back twice before the ref took action.
Even Jeftes yellow was soft as sheeite.
Point is both teams can complain about decisions but in the end it was all largely irrelevant.
So is it not possible to take a day off with the whole celtic are hard done to by refs pash and enjoy your win?
i think jeftes yellow was fine, dessers had a legitimate complaint though, never understood how that happens.
bit player from aberdeen knocked half of tierneys teeth out and he he stays on park while tierneys off to hospital.
the penalty for us is a stonewaller, and i think they got the offside wrong.

The handball. Haven’t seen it other than a rewatch on tv. As said, if that’s the new interpretation then fine but I’ll await the consistency. Interestingly we only made a half hearted appeal on the pitch so kind of says it all to me.
The Johnstone incident was in front of us but play had moved on so saw it as likely being a collision. Looking at the replay, that’s a red all day long. VAR should have picked that up but I don’t blame the ref or the linesman because the play had moved away from the incident and clearly that was where their attention was. VAR however…..

Not sure anyone’s disputing Beaton’s a poor ref, particularly in the heat of battle of an OF encounter. The big, potentially game-changing “errors” (cough) all point to Dallas on VAR though. Some iffy yellow cards in real time hardly equate to VAR’s highly questionable disallowed goal, a stonewall pen not given, and a clear red card offence ignored. Just because we won at a canter we’re supposed to gloss over several “interpretations” using multiple slo-mo replays that are blatantly wrong? All about opinions though.
Meant to add … and IMO, based on years of supporting evidence, Dallas is a biased cant who shouldn’t be anywhere near VAR in an OF game.
Dessers with his mouth clearly bleeding as a result of the treatment he was getting that was going unpunished complains to the ref and he gets booked for having the audacity to ask for a bit of action.

Dessers got booked for being a horrible thundercvnt. If he didn't want to be a horrible thundercvnt then he shouldn't have signed for a horrible thundercvnt club
Facts
Dessers got booked for asking for a Celtic card. As per ifab guidelines. Despite continentaks getting away with that continually.
I’d imagine that if we only question the ability of refs after a defeat we’d be getting called paranoid, or always cheated, never defeated or something similar.

Dessers got booked for being a horrible thundercvnt. If he didn't want to be a horrible thundercvnt then he shouldn't have signed for a horrible thundercvnt club

Dessers got booked for asking for a Celtic card. As per ifab guidelines. Despite continentaks getting away with that continually.

I’d imagine that if we only question the ability of refs after a defeat we’d be getting called paranoid, or always cheated, never defeated or something similar.
