Just making the point I posted the team first not the Ben. Who's copying who?
Matheson and Sharples-Ahmed were on the bench on Saturday so can be involved without us falling foul of the EFL's stupid rules that actively means youth prospects aren't given more game time.
I've genuinely no idea what the rules are. Totally stupid. Personally I would just put the b team out tonight. Paying for not getting promoted last season now all these extra games and fixture pile ups which you don't get as a championship side.
Certain amount of players in the squad that played the last few games. Can't recall. Anyway team is in.
Wanderers: Baxter, Schön, Dacres-Cogley, Santos, Johnston, Osei-Tutu, Thomason, Matete, Collins, Dempsey, McAtee.
Substitutes: Dallimore (GK), Weston, Matheson, Sharples-Ahmed, Lewis, Eze, Isong.
So a first team plus B team bench.
Coleman is added to the broken list apparently.
I have the grand total of 4 match choices tonight.
Doncaster vs Huddersfield
Birmingham vs Walsall
Orient vs Arsenal U21
Fleetwood vs Aston Villa U21.
So Paralympics and Freddie Flintoff's show on BBC for me tonight. Will probably check the score at full time ish time.
Incredible the injuries. Adeboyejo injured too? On my way home, probably get last 20 minutes of first half.
Don't think Vic is injured. Questions are to be asked later apparently.
If anyone is interested Villa's kids beating Fleetwood 2-0 after I had a quick check that my streaming choices hadn't changed nearer kick off. They haven't.
The question has already been asked. He's had a back issue which hasn't quite cleared up. He won't be off work some new teeth any time soon.
Osei-Tutu off injured. Didn't look good.
That was a whirlwind 2nd half. 3-2 win and 3 points. Unfortunately not league points. Should qualify with 2 hole games to come.
As much as he got pelters, rightly for some of his football and his gruff demeanour, Gary Megson saw a trend in injuries and got rid of the entire physiotherapy department and had them replaced with lads that have ended up at Man City.
Anyway a match thread that has so few comments just shows how respected the football league trophy is.
I didn't partake in last night's thread, to be honest, I think we can do without the cup games, that was in part, a reason for us not getting promoted. too many games at the end of the season combined with injuries and late signing to prop up the squad didn't help.
Evatt wants to partake in all competitions and try to win them all, I would prefer to concentrate on the league and get promoted.
At this stage in the season, all is not lost but if Evatt doesn't get his act together soon, we will have a very dismal time of it.
So the goals we conceded came from set pieces. Who sorted the tactics for us to start scoring from set pieces and probably played a big part in not conceding from them? I'll give you a clue, it wasn't our present coach.
Looks like Neil Hart is on his way to mk dons.

Heard it all now.
Apparently the medical department are looking at ways in which we can cut down on the injuries.
I'd be looking at how the players warm up either Pre-match or before Gym work. Though you can't legislate for some of the contact ones.
Though I can't talk I've done both a calf and hamstring by stretching in my sleep in the most Bolton Wanderers way possible.
Mentioned this on the bn site. The reset in international breaks never seems to help. Don't seem to get the players promised back, someone else gets injured, someone comes back from international duty injured/ill/injury made worse plus the players look lathargic. To sum up. 24 man squad. Injured Coleman, Toal, Forrester, Osei-Tutu, Jones, Williams, Mendes Gomes, Arfield, Lolos, Adeboyejo. Plus add in Carty that's a side.
Heard this morning that Miguel Veloso has retired earlier this week.
A transfer rumour finally put to bed.
I see that Charles played the first half of their game the other night, I thought he was injured. Will he come back and have several games out and then take several more to get back up to speed?
It's ridiculous that other countries can take a club's players when they have been informed that they are injured and potentially knacker them for several weeks or months just because they can.
There should be heavy penalties for any country that does that. Unfortunately, there is no way to get compensation,
It's Toal who's injured but Northern Ireland took anyway. They even had a couple of other lads not even turn up to their camp due to injury so why they didn't believe us is quite staggering.
They did the same with Charles at the end of last season and it messed his recovery up.
21 man squad named by evatt which leaves one space for a free agent. Matheson has been left out although he can play b team and I'm fairly sure all cup games but not league games. This is why Conway had to be loaned out to Crewe. Young players need to be coming through 17/18 not 21/22. Hutchinson the same. Best of the younger crop is Sharples but will he get his chance?
So the injured Eoin Toal is on the subs bench for Northern Ireland who play in 15 minutes.
Dion Charles starts so I'll fire up ITVX and give it a watch.
Half time in that game. N Ireland 1-0 down Charles has had 1 link up with Connor Bradley but has been quiet mainly due to a limited side not playing to his strength or giving him anything chance wise.
Dion gets 58 minutes and comes off. Got no service whatsoever, ran about for a bit. Gets some more minutes in him.
My scouting mission is over bar a defender getting injured and Toal arriving.
Hopefully our 5 players come back fit and well. Some others promised to be back. Need them with a few midweek fixtures coming up.
