Besides we beat the drug cheats anyway.
Oh god, you're bang on!
There's no thirst for it. England bored us to death all summer and they want us to watch more? Feck off!
We're 2 weeks into the season. It's completely insane. Most big players drop out of squads anyway. It's a complete and utter waste of time. When you take into account that when we come back we've got back to back games twice a week for about a month, it makes you wonder whether this two week break is the best use of time. Why not just have a meet up during the week but play no games? It's so feckin boring.
The only way is to make these crap tournaments once every ten years.
All club football is better except maybe the Italian league.
Why are you concerned about the World Club competition Dumbstruck?
As for interest, I went to the last finals in Jeddah with a few thousand others, there was certainly interest from City fans.
Before you ask, yes, Jeddah was full of Sand Dogs as you call them.

I quite like the UEFA Nations Cup as it give a bit more bite and meaning to what would otherwise be annoyingly meaningless frendlies.
But overall matches need to be reduced. UEFA nad FIFA are milking this cash cow so hard it's gonna ruin the game.
A decent international playing in the UCL could face 38 league games, 11 internationals, 17 european games, 10 domestic cup games and if they are taking place in next years FIFA Club World Cup, another up to 8 games up to 15 July 2025. Bonkers, same again the next year except it will be the FIFA WC.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep - killing the game with an overload of shiete no one wants to watch.
The club World Cup is the a hottest idea I have ever heard - who is interested in watch Man City vs Depotivo Saprissa - most City fans can’t be bothered watching their side in meaningful games let alone this schitt. The first 2 English entrants are our 2 most plastic clubs - City and Chelsea.
The bottom line though is that all the action is in Europe - the big games in that competition will be when European heavyweights face off - the only 2 other teams that will draw any significant interest are Boca and River but they are nowhere near good enough to compete with elite euro sides who pinch all of their best players. A complete waste of time

The only way the powers that be will even think of budging from their position of stop starting the domestic leagues for internationals is if spectators just keep away and the attendances are severely effected as we all know money talks so you have to hit them in the

If anyone can find me using that slur ever then I will happily shut my account and never return.
You of course won’t find me using appalling slurs like that and I wonder if this is a term that Boris uses habitually, and in fact projecting his own racism onto others.
Let the records show though that Boris is not above falsely accusing people of racism - and for what provocation? Pointing out that City are a plastic football club with a fan base that love dressing up as plastic chairs at home games
