Roman must have some money in that stake
Which side of the choice are more about the football rather than the financial side, or are they both similar?
They are both the same imo,
But
Bohley was given responsibility by Clearlake as he was assumed to be the right person to direct the take over strategy.
Clearly he is not.
Hopefully Clearlake will prevail and thereafter bring the best footballing brains that money can buy in to direct the footballing strategy.
If Bohley stays we are going to continue with what they are doing imo.
At this point anything can happen!

thanks, moving forward getting some stability and solid policy on the football side of the club will no doubt help and allow the manager and coaches to work with the players, be interesting to see how this pans out, good luck

Also wonder if there's been a falling out or just a power grab?
It doesn't matter who "wins", either way we lose.
Eghbali represents Clearlake, closest thing they have to a mouthpiece, and the absolute sh!t he's come out with when he has spoken in the last two years should curb any notions of positive change even if Boehly's cut out of the club.
The crème de la crème Eghbali statement :
The club that had averaged a trophy once a year the previous 20 years was "not well run on the football side"
devil,
I personally believe that this statement is honest & realistic.
The club that had averaged a trophy once a year the previous 20 years was "not well run on the football side"
I think its about going forward.
Bohley damaged the club so significantly in the first 12 months, he was simply not capable to steer the club back to top 4 status.
So if its him or Eghbali, i go with the latter , but its what he decides to do?
I think it is fairly straight forward, they stick to the money and bring top notch, qualified experienced footballing brains.
It is what the Emiraties have done at City, it is simple tbh.
But will that happen?
Another day, more drama at Chelsea. Long may this continue
I hope they all feck off tbh
We're in far far too deep now...nobody is touching us
What we need is for the long term purchases to flourish & get back to winning ways & the CL
and that's an ask to say the least
Yeah, depending on what happens/ who gains control its going to be more ups/ downs & sideway moves imo.
We are stuck with one or the other for the foreseeable future.
Its for sure an unknown who has been influencing what over the last 2 years.
I hope whoever takes over gets rid of Winstanley & Lawrence and brings in a better level of sporting/ footballing brains.
In some ways it feels like we have been an experiment for these guys.
The good thing is that they have publically acknowledged what they have done has not worked.

Yep, we're now at the mercy of this fever dream under this ownership or another one.
Lets how we win the lottery

Yep, though not an experiment for them cos they just lose money, an experiment for football in general. I'd actually be morbidly interested in what would happen here if this was another club.
Cos mental as it is there's definitely some intrigue to it. Can running a club the same way most fans approach a Football Manager or FIFA Career mode save actually come close to working in reality?
Such a shame José Feliciano's a Chelsea shareholder instead of a VAR official
