I can’t see how Nuno has been that much of an upgrade Rev in fairness. You finished what - 16th last season? I’d hardly say Nunos football is progressive or a joy to watch.
Is Nuno a better manager than Cooper? Undoubtedly. But I do think he needs to push on this season and get a top 10 finish as you have some very good players. Last season some his football was terrible and let’s not forget Forest fans were fuming when Cooper was sacked
I do however agree with your assessment on Cooper in general and certainly we’re approaching games too negatively really to get 3 points. I think ultimately the owners have yet again backed the wrong horse and if it takes us down then they’ll have run out of excuses to hide behind given there’s no points deduction (probably)
Mate, Nuno is definitely an improvement on Cooper - you have to remember the Nuno inherited Cooper’s squad of players
And yes, we just avoided relegation, but if it wasn’t for the points deduction we’d have finished 10 points clear of the Relegation zone
We’re definitely seeing the benefits of what Nuno has done with the players and tactics - we’ve now won 4 on the bounce away from home (counting the end of last season too)
Of course it’s still early days, but I think it’s fair to say, the vast majority of Forest supporters are a lot happier this season compared to what we witnessed under Steve Cooper
The very fact that we’re actually on the offensive now is just good to watch
It’ll be an interesting game when we play in a few weeks time 👍🏼
