He's had 3 golden opportunities to score and fluffed his lines every time, I've seen nothing yet to suggest he is worth £25m let alone £65m, early days of course and he should be given time to settle.

Yeah that’s the winner.
Aside of the price, I found the transfer odd anyway. He’s nothing like Kyogo at all.
Solanke is a 10-15 goals a season man, and he’ll get that many.

Wasn't impressed with the signing in the summer, still not currently impressed, don't see any inkling we are going to be impressed.
If we give him time and he comes good, great, but initial impressions are he will be one we have to take a big hit on to get rid of in a couple of seasons.
The guys had 2 games in a Spurs shirt, Son looked awful his first season at Spurs. Bale took 26 games to be on the winning side and was very nearly sold to Forest for £3m before hitting his stride. Modric was woeful under Ramos - then Harry took over, called the Croatian coach and found out Modric’s best position and the rest was history.
He might not be anywhere the level of those 3, but judging him after 2 games when he scored 19 for Bournemouth last season is rather silly

Very early days.
His movement looks really, really good and Solanke is a confidence player once he scores he will go on a streak similar to richarlison.

Players mature over time and generally get better. He had been at Chelsea and Liverpool at a youngish age where starts were few and far between. Iraola seemed to get the best out of him last season.
My overall point though is can’t believe we have a Spurs fan trying to come up with silly nicknames for a guy who has had 2 appearances in a Spurs shirt - if he scores a hat trick in Saturday it’s suddenly 3 goals in 3 games and the picture changes again.
In addition, we are notorious for slow starting players that turn into monsters. I’ve already mentioned Bale, Modric and Son - we once had this young lad come through our youth system who looked very good, we loaned him out here there and everywhere and most the loans didn’t work, with the exceptions of Millwall and Leyton Orient. The guy missed a penalty on his debut for us against Hearts in the Europa league under Harry Redknapp and more or less disappeared for a couple of seasons. Tim Sherwood brought him back into the fold and Poch made him his talisman.
Last week he scored a couple of goals on his 100th appearance for England.
I'm sure he'd have been off the mark already if he was available against Everton and Newcastle. So far it was his debut game for the club and a game against one of the best defences in the league. He's missed a few in his playing time so far but he'll need more time.
He's going to need better service from the wings anyway than what we've produced so far.

Yep, there is basically zero to judge him on so far.
Would be tempted to start him against Qarabag if he is not off the mark - him and Richy, hopefully get some goals and confidence into them.

I wouldn't be against that just to try and get him off the mark. Results have not been great so far this season but performance wise we haven't been that far away. All it might need is an in form and confident player, such as Solanke to transform us from what we've got right now, to what we should have got, which IMO is being unbeaten after 4 games with 10 or more points.

Yeah I would go with that, but it is a results business. Ange needs to win the next 3 - that would give him a bit of breathing room before a trip to United. Beat Ferencvaros, scrape a draw at Brighton and then after the international break beat West Ham - he could build on that from there. Time to batten down the hatches
