LIW by the way, do I have to ask you directly about your views on whether Bogle could have done better for the goal?

This statement "It surprises me that you don't think that Bogle, as some have said, should have made a better attempt to cover the attack" does not say anything about my thoughts on the goal.

No I dont think Bogle could have done better.

And no way any keeper saves the shot either

Spanish I filtered you because you raised it every comment as though you had cracked the greatest joke ever, pick up on one point about a goalkeeping error it was petty and you were getting on my nerves. Just leave it mate.

The thing is, any player playing will be trying their best, unless they want away!..

Players don't sit in the stands or in front of a TV, they're seeing things differently to what we see and try to play to cover it, they get it right they're the best we have, get it wrong they're bacon, people can praise them or drag them down, but people should also think on, they're doing the dragging but more than likely couldn't do better!..

Its easy to drag anyone down, but being in different jobs most'll more than likely get away with their mistakes/accidents!..

The wobbly defence I was referring to that so far this season has conceded 3 goals against an average Portsmouth side plus 3 goals to a Boro side in the cup and looked distinctly wobbly against Burnley is the wobbly defence I'm referring to incase you have
forgotten and which if Coventry are allowed to get at
frequently by outnumbering our two man holding midfield and they looked impressive aginst Spurs last I think will score at least once if not more against us.

I am not conviced by the make up of of our defence at all and for me Rodon looks a shadow of the player he was for us last season and Bogle has not impressed either but hopefully they will get better and putting an extra traditional midfield player in the side I think helps the defence also.

Utter nonsense

Portsmouth had three shots on target, including a wonder strike and pen. Scored 3, it was an outliner

WBA, top of league got one shot on target, never looked like scoring

Sheffield wed, local derby, had two shots on target, never looked like scoring

Hull, local derby, had two shots on target, never looked like scoring

Burnley, new relegated, 3 shots on target, never looked like scoring apart from a mistake which we made.

Had Bogle came across quicker and towards the attacker, the guy behind would have been offside. When he did decide to come across, it was a lethargic half hearted attempt and the player was allowed to get a shot off. Meslier didn't cover himself in glory either, was superglued to the ground for some reason, didn't even dive ff5.

Keeper had to cover both posts and the possible nutmeg if he’s too open.

He didn’t dive because he had no idea where the ball was going until it was played.

99% of keepers would do exactly what he did. Some would get lucky and a stuck out leg might save it. No keeper dives in that situation.

Donn - apart from the fact that other teams have the same problem as us - playing Saturday/Tuesday/Friday is no difference at all to playing Sunday/Weds/Saturday.

Both are three games in 6 days with 4 days rest.

I’ve seen similar goals just in the past week, Hamer for Sheffield United and Pulisic against Liverpool…both keepers dived. It’s a good finish, not sure Meslier saves that either way. Bogle needed to close him down at the risk of leaving the square ball and empty net.

and actually talk to the average footballer, as long as it isn't excessive, given the choice between playing and training, a match wins hands down.

The Donn is worried but the likes of Charlie Crew wouldn't care less about the minutes if he were playing.

Bogle's been consistently poor - imo the fact that Farke is still starting him is a sign of his rigidity. He's a decent manager but in so many ways he doesn't seem to be able to adapt well to certain situations.

DF tackles his intransigence head on in the lastest press conference. He appears absolutely determined to stick to his plans and not ‘wave around like a flag in the wind’. I hope his confidence pays off.
