They let the bride and groom hold it. Then they had them bubble wrapped and were taking them down the corridor when my girlfriend spotted them.
Told the wee man carrying them to let us get a few snaps before they were taken off.
The gent let us stand there and get about 10 different snaps before taking them off.
I was grinning from ear to ear.

Snap Medro ... I lifted it in 09 at a family party in the summer. The trophy is pretty heavy! They were bringing it in to put back in the cabinet and a lucky few of us were there and persuaded the girl to let us get some pics. My Hearts supporting mate was possibly the only Jambo ever who will get his hands on the trophy. We tried to persuade her to give us the Scottish Cup too but she declined!
Yeah it was quite heavy, didn't expect that. A few of mates were ripping that they missed out because they were getting drinks at the bar.
We were looking around the trophy room etc and just happened to be there; right place right time. The guy whose birthday it was was in the bar and missed out! Haha. Pitchside tour was great too...although we weren't allowed on the grass. Walking out the tunnel in itself was great though. Spent ages just walking around the corridors looking at all the pics of teams past and the international caps on the walls.
We got a good tour too, though I didn't go down to pitchside myself.

I noted that any wedding ceremony at any fitbaw ground is tacky....eye watteringly crass.
Do you still have that big cabinet in the trophy room thats gathering dust with a rather rusty memorium which says 'european cup'
