Proper six pointer this one.

Can the Spurs faithful solidify with a point before going into meltdown mode again?

What do people expect?

We’ve bought too many mid table players over the last couple of years. Solanke, Johnson etc. then backed them up with kids gray, bergvall

None of those would get in any of the teams we are supposedly trying to catch

We simply haven’t bought the players required to execute the football this manager wants to play. And he ain’t for changing

Something is going to have to give….

Gray and Bergs are not mid table, but you wouldn't normally buy Two of these age at the same time.

If you did buy two of them, you wouldn't play them and then surround the with reserves.

4 clean sheets in our last 38 games

Get piled on both teams to score

I said they were bought to back up mid table signings

The fact is we don’t know how good they will be, but they’re certainly not ready yet.

Gray should be playing at Leeds every week in midfield for this season - loaned back.

Agreed

Our transfer window was a shambles really. Even the signing of solanke was so late he missed preseason.

I think it will cost Ange his job ultimately

It'll be the manager then. If he's the one choosing to sign these players who aren't suitable to his system then it's his fault. Regardless of that, we know he has been slacking on defending set pieces.

He needs a win today but on current form against a tough and organised Brentford side who have attackers in form ( Wissa, Mbeumo), I would expect a draw or loss. He will then be under huge pressure going into the United game next week. Could a loss in that game possibly spell the end for him?

Unfortunately changing the manager will change nothing. I’d rather stick with him and see if he can make this mess work.

As for his signings, If, out of all the strikers, wingers and midfielders around, he said I want Werner, solanke, bergvall and gray, then he deserves whatever happens.

Or was he told, eze, Neto, osimhem, gykores are too expensive so here is the rest of what we are will to pay for. Choose from that.

This side is desperate for wingers that can beat a man, a striker that can hold the ball up and a number six to defend in transition.

We didn’t get those in my opinion. If that was anges choice, he must have some tactics to get around it. Or he will lose his job.

Well he came out yesterday and said he wanted Solanke over Toney. That makes me think he targeted him in particular. The rumours are he wanted BJ too. We shouldn't have signed Werner but I have a bad feeling Ange, instead of saying "no we need someone better", agreed to it, maybe thinking he did an alright job in the loan spell or that he could foolishly improve him.

I don't know how realistic Eze etc. were but it's not like we aren't throwing big money around anyway. After spending over £350m in 3 windows it kind of seems like the man is getting backed to me.

He is either going to get found out in the next set of fixtures and lose his job, or he starts finding some solutions and we begin to perform better. Make or break for Ange.

People act like Eze is the second coming now and that Solanke was a poor signing. Eze is a decent player and has a good start to the new season but like Solanke, what we'd have got was another mid-20's player who hardly had a regularity for good seasons either. And there were question marks over his availability. With our injury record he'd have been out for the first game.
