Who is getting ahead of themselves? You seem wound up...
Good performance & much needed win
I thought the high press was excellent... we won the ball back time & again in great areas.
Thought it was Madders best game since before his injury. Pleased for BJ and Dom to get goals for different reasons
Would love for Son in particular to get himself into the box when the ball is crossed from the opposite side...,Lost count of the number of times we got in down the sides, flashed it across the box with only Solanke there.
Should have won by a far bigger margin but all good
FYI Ange.. I know it's against your "principles" but a set piece coach would probably help your keeper... It blindingly obvious he's a great shop stopper but he's no good under crosses. Sorting that would help his confidence and subsequently stop some of the chaos moments he sparks that create Panic in our back 4..... Its a no brainer
Good win today however we need to follow it up by getting a result against United and Brighton, we need to start getting some consecutive positive results.
Good win. Very pleased for Ange.
We have a very young squad of exciting players and we have a project and philosophy that will take time.
Need to back the manager and what he is trying to do.
Beating Coventry reserves and Brentford ar home should be a given for a manager that has spent as much as Ange. He now needs to sort out the awful away form and will be judged on the next two away matches at Man U and Brighton. Let's see how many points Spurs get from those two matches before bigging up Ange. Of course I would like a couple of wins, but suspect Spurs will be lucky to come away with a point.
Bigging up Ange?
I'm pleased for him. There is a difference.

Shandy sounds disappointed, didn't have a good day obviously, must have lost a bet
I've adopted Spurs this season as my EPL team this season I hope do well as you acquired the services of one of Leeds's most exciting young talents in Archie Gray and I only wish the best for the lad which if he is allowed enough game time I think he will run Jude
Bellingham close in ability and fulfilling his potential....A very wise head on young shoulders.
Glad your midweek good fortune looks like it had a positive confidence boosting effect on the team today and like Sandy says the next 2 games will tell if a new dawn has arrived or not.
Rather focus on Qarabag first as we play them next.
One game at a time.
I'm.not going to get too carried away with today. Great result of course and a game with much better movement quicker thought and deed and some great footy played. Still missed plenty of good chances and offered up several. But so much better than last week.
Need to watch it again to figure out whether allowing more possession to the opposition helped us create better chances as they opened up a bit or if it was just coincidence. Less than 50% possession and could have scored 6 or 7....it's a funny old game
Watched Utd vs Palace. They looked OK in possession, quite creative in the final third without any truly deadly finisher. Didn't really over commit so still an element of caution in their play and still a slowness in their back line
They are defo trying to be more dominant and possession based so it will be interesting to see what they do next week...more of the same or follow the blueprint to beat Spurs of frustrate and counter
One of the weirdest second half’s I think I’ve ever seen today. Brentford at 2-1 down were still time wasting. There was a moment around 70 mins with us 2-1 up where we were booing them for time wasting - very odd
I like Mbuemo, he is a real handful and the goal was superb. Wasn’t impressed with Damsgaard today - completely overshadowed by Maddison.

There is a project, since Ange has been in charge we have started heavily investing in young players.
Yesterday’s match he brought on Gray, Bergvall and Moore. We have a young South Korean lad joining us in January and a Croatian defender who can join us when he reaches 18.
Apart from Moore these were bought for big money for their ages but they were bought because they are highly rated and have massive potential.
As for time, Ange has had one season so I suppose you could say being manager of spurs he’s had a long time but why don’t we do something different this time?
We have not had success for twenty years, we need to change how we work.
Now if we are investing mostly in young players then it would be normal for time to be given for them to reach their potential.
Logically it would make sense that if we are giving the players time then we should give the manager time as well and not just sack him when we have a string of bad results.
Of course we want instant success and as spurs fans we have waited way too long but imo if we are ever going to be successful we need to build a team and a way of playing and we need to back the manager even when we have bad results.
I feel like now for once we have a plan in place and we are doing things properly.
My worry is that fans don’t back the manager after some bad results and Levy panics and pulls the trigger.
Levy is the one I don’t trust in this process but I am hearing we now have proper football people in charge of decision making and so I’m a little more confident that even if the fans call for the managers head we now have someone in place with a pair of balls to make the right decision.
Good win but this is just one hurdle. Tough games to come. Let's see if we can take this form into those.
Stay humble.

Yes but we were excellent. Really very good and 5 or 6 goals would not have flattered us.
United away is a good test. They are inferior to NUFC and Arsenal and I think this should be a game we should not lose if we are to show progress...not losing to decent teams away will be a good sign for us. We will play to win and I think it is a game we have a reasonable chance of winning if we take the same levels into that match.
It will be an intriguing match for me. EtH has them being more possession based this season, a bit more front foot and at home you'd expect more of the same. But they have played a counter attacking style in the past 2 seasons, so will they revert to that, sit deep and counter, or will they look to be the aggressor.
I think if we go toe to toe then we win, or at least do not lose. We have scored 7 goals passed the 2 teams who have has a go at us.
Pleased we won and pleased we got a reaction.
It would of been easy for us to resign to one of those games when going 1-0 in the first minute.
We should be beating Brentford at home lets be clear, i did not see enough there to suggest all will be rosy going ahead. Played well but we was at home embarrased by our rivals, nearly embarrased by Coventry. I did not see enough of a change there personally.
Lets hope and pray we maybe have turned a corner though and get some positivity and belief into the boys against Qarabag.
