I use one stat.

My eyes.

We will win the league. There will be ups and downs, there always is.

My opinion, time will tell.

We need to go on a run now and dominate the league. All the teams around us are dropping points at the moment. We need get to the top and stay there.

We'll win the league at a canter. Team is op for this level.

The swing between the despair at the Cardiff performance and the euphoria after Coventry are enough to make you ill.

----------------------------------------

both 3 points tho... at the end of the season thats the only stat that will be important.

Also, giving league positions after a hand full of games of teams teams we have to face in the coming weeks is a pure waste of time... means nothing where teams sit in the league this early.

I'm actually big on stats, but I'm sure people overlook into stats that mean nothing

Stats mean nothing, the end game counts and the team with most goals win!..

Simple!..

And looking at the teams above us and saying what we have to do against them like a lot do, they'll more than likely be looking at us and saying exactly the same!..

The season is to young and our players are beginning to get it together, so, on to the next game!.

Strangely enough, him using just wins, has totally distorted his point.

We have played WBA (top) A and Burnley (second favourites)at home.

Add in local derby away, thats a pretty tought start.

After 10 games we will have played

Sheff Wed A
WBA A
Norwich A
Sunderland A
Burnley H
Sheff U H

Lets not go overboard though if we don't beat Norwich. A draw wouldn't be a bad result.

Agree... and until 10 games in, or even 15 games in the championship league position is totally irrelevant.

How’s this for a stat?
Leeds classification is ‘Win, Draw and Loss’ as is most football clubs.
Only the clubs financed by Middle East oil or giant American franchises are mostly ‘win and sometimes draw, rarely lose’ break the cycle of the general classification for most clubs.

Specifically Leeds have experienced the syndrome of ‘win, draw or loss’…mostly wins to promotion to the Premiership, then mostly loss to relegation quickly back to the Championship.
Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton look like being great examples of the ‘win, draw and lose’ syndrome or classification…successful wins to Premiership and now looking to an unsuccessful season fighting relegation.

I guess my point is don’t get too giddy winning games and don’t get down when losing…you could enjoy the games better if you accept your club classification of ‘win, lose or draw’ and think about your expectations?

Its amazing what scoring 3 instead of 2 does to people. We win 2-0 and its Farke is boring, time to make a change. Win 3-0 and nobody is complaining.

Truth is we've dominated every game bar West Brom and had we not missed glaring chances in them all we would've won more comfortably.

I've long thought the boring Farke-ball shouts are people just jumping on a bandwagon because other than the odd half of football here and there I've not been bored at all since he took over.

Yep, there’s a world of difference between hoping we win the league and actually winning it. A couple of weeks in this league and you can be world beaters or also-rans. I obviously hope we win it (or get autos anyway) but it’s far too early to make any meaningful predictions. Let’s see where we are after the next 2 very difficult away games.

Comepletely agree.

Its a myth, one where it sticks for no reason.

I've also never thought Farke ball is boring, I do think its solid.. totally different.

my only gripe with Farke, at one point I thought his substitutions lacked tactical awareness... you'd see him throw forwards on etc without any real plan (or so it appeared), other than to score..

I have to say I've not seen much evidence for that since christmas last season, so happy to say I prob called that wrong at the time

Looking out for the next two, three games and saying see where we are, surely looking closer to January would be a better time to judge!..

Looking at last season we've been a lot more than 2pts away from first and clawed it back, and we've got a hell of a lot more games to go with a team that are still getting it together to hopefully stop us getting that far behind!..

Said a few times and others have as well, there is no reason why anybody should be doubting Farke, and looking at teams some think are better than us, I said somewhere back there, they'll be watching us and thinking the same against us!..

Hard to see how it would be possible to throw lots of forwards on now.

There are a few on here that change from winning the league to going down during a game depending on who has possession!
