Bit of a disappointment tonight. I thought we were poor in midfield until the subs but we were generally predictable. As ever we gave the ball away far too much and once Sunderland scored their 2nd they sat back.
Sunderland did enough to beat us as we were naive but I didn't think they were particularly outstanding for saying they're 2nd.

Flat, never really gave ourselves a chance.
Are Sund really top 6 contenders ?

Big Dave is a huge miss for sure.

Very disappointing, very flat, the fizz seems to have gone in the last 3 games. Maybe we've been overachieving at home which gave us a false sense of security.

We're not bad but we need a complete and utter hard ba****d in midfield to kill some of the opoosition.

We haven't really pushed them to see. Let them beat us in second gear.

Disappointing we played like Forest do in the Premier. Timid, Tidy and Toothless. Hoping for a mistake rather than creating anything.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but think Harness and Chirewa might have been better to bring on off the bench.

We had a spell for 10 mins second half think if we can use that energy more away from home we might compete a bit better.

Team still gelling though and learning.

We are so lightweight in midfield without Ozoh

I can't see us ever getting anything away from home while we are so tentative in getting at the oppo. The set-up seems designed to keep things tight and hope (I stress that word) to catch them on the break. Whatever system we adopt away from home it is not working.

From the small screen it was difficult to see whether Phillips added any security at the back and while the young Wolves lad is clearly talented he was pretty naive at times and really cost us their first goal. They were much better than us, using the ball well and finding men in space. We did not really look like scoring. Matters were summed up for me when NML put two corners in succession out for goal kicks!

Next game will be a very important one.

We’ve played 5 of the top 8 so there should be some easier ones soon. I hope.

Which usually means we need to move it a bit quicker don't think we did that today. Not sure if Yates needs to run the channels a bit more in those situations or start with Collins. Not that hold up play is his Forte but I'd say he'd be the best that we have at doing it.

2 disappointing results in a row, 1 disappointing performance, let's hope for a change of fortune. Think Ozzy, Adam's and Kenzo is our best midfield three atm though.

The otters were charming though. You were all on the wrong channel. 🐧

Someone said we need a fierce battler in midfield. I thought Ebou did that and pretty well.

PS Again felt sorry for Yates - no support at all. Also for the Derby fans who were great and deserved more for all their travel and vocal support.
