As far as I know there's nothing that prevents us from recalling Gyabi from his loan at Plymouth other than it being not the done thing to do.
As far as I know there's nothing that prevents us from recalling Gyabi from his loan at Plymouth other than it being not the done thing to do.
no looked at it, looks like we cannot recall him, damn.
Should be looking at the free agents imo, a few defensive mids are on it, or seeing if there's a recall clause for Gyabi.
* Alexis Beka Beka, 23 year old who played for Nice last season. Former U23 International
* Coquelin who used to play for Arsenal, 33 ain't too bad
* Kouyate who joined Forest when they got promoted is also free now
* Christopher Kramer, ex German international, 33
A few others available going by the transfer market website. Imo, doing something is better than doing nothing. The 23 year old from Nice is worth a punt if he's available. After all, whoever we sign will be cover for Tenaka and Rothwell. The thought of losing either if those is horrifying tbh.
Yes rotton luck and we'll see whether Crew at lesst gets elevated to first reserve off the bench to replace when needed to either Rothwell or AO but the rumour mill seems to indicate free agent Kramer a DM 33yr old, the most likely deal to happen over the international break
as he is a player that Farke has previously managed in Germany so hopefully this Gruev news doesn't derail our promotion push and we can cope without him as well as Amps.
After reading through Alexis Beka Beka’s wiki page I suspect the poor lad has other priorities above our promotion push. He’s obviously been struggling and hopefully his contracted was terminated with his health as the primary consideration.
Charlie Crew needs to be given minutes if we have a comfortable lead in games.
Reduce the risk of losing either Tanaka or Rothwell and prepare Crew for when he’s needed if either of the 2 starters do get injured/suspended
Farke asked about free agents in the press conference, said he wasn't in favour, whether he will change his mind given the current situation we will have to wait and see. All looks very desperate.
Massive blow. Having a really good season. Him and
Amps will be huge losses. Tanaka played defensive mid
last season. More progressive season before. I think
him and Rothwell will be good. And good enough.
CB is the real worry. Not blaming the club. However,
we have a knack for signing injury prone players and
then thinking they won't get injured playing for us.
There are patterns here. But, not when it comes to Gruev or EA. Really hope Wober can get back to the
starting squad asap.
Agree with Shaun. We need to be looking at any help we can get through FREES. Farke keeps pushing back
on it. Using the rationale that they aren't fit enough.
The club needs to over ride that. Get a couple in. Train
them up while out on international break. Not rocket
science.
Massive blow. Could Aaronson play there perhaps when James is back?
Cm and cb look pretty weak. Not signing Hamer coming back to haunt us.
Thought about Aaronson there but I think it would be a disaster. Too many problems if he’s that deep.
No aerial ability
Not great at tackling
But mostly he’s an awful decision maker which is frustrating when we are in a good attacking position, but will cost us loads of goals if he’s in our own half all the time. He nearly cost us twice against Norwich.
Dont want to sound too critical of him because he does a lot right too, and I’m confident he will have a good season. But he really needs time under a proper coach to teach him the game. Farke may or may not be that person.
I would think either Rothwell or Tanaka will drop deeper. If one of those gets injured then Struijk could move to DM and maybe Byram to CB?
Have we got another CB at the club? Wober out another week or so yet.
Make do and mend I guess. Such bad luck to lose two DM’s in such a short time.
Get a result tonight and we have some free time to look at options.
Mad,crazy and dangerous to think it I know but in the face of adversity I have a sneaky feeling we're going to win tonight...no real logic to it but any victorious scoreline for Leeds this evening by a single goal margin I think would see us top on goals scored although then our heirarchy may think everything in the garden is rosey and decide not to go out and get a free agent or two to strengthen our depleted squad.

Is there much adversity 🤷🏻♂️ got a couple of injuries, like everyteam gets.
Wober out another week or so yet.
^^^
Read it's several more weeks.
If you don't think the injury situation is alarm bells
time then you likely live in a cushy bubble.
Gruev timeline reported to be 5 months. That means
out until March. Can take 6-9 months depending on
the individual. In other words, we are more than likely
without one of our best players this season, the bulk
of this campaign. Maybe the club finally use a January
window?

There is alarm bells, and we dont need anymore injuries.
But people talking like its a miracle if we beat sunderland, come on, were still favourites
Sunderland at home have played 4 won all 4 and not conceded a goal and sit top of the league atm so yes I'd say they will be our hardest away game and I do not think it should be dismissed as a given we are favourites to beat them and I'm not saying it will be a miracle if we pull of a win tonight but with our first 2 main Dm out longterm plus injuries to Solomon and James and only one fit out and out centre forward with just one goal to his name this season plus incompetence from what seems to be week in week out from efl refs and their assistants missing clear stonewall pens for Leeds then yes I'd say we've got our work cut out to overcome that level of adversity but of course one or two others on here like LIW have a contrasting point of view and see things differently as is their right to do so but either way we should all be on the same page and want only the best for the club we all love.
Still favorites for what? Beating Sunderland away?
Or to be Champions? Not laying money on us winning
tonight. Right now, I'd be ecstatic with a point.
As for Champions, way too early for that talk. We're
still a top 6 side. However, lose Struijk or Rodon and
we'll be fcked.
There's no sugar coating our situation.
One more injury to a defensive player and top six will be a dream.
We already have trouble scoring so when the clean sheets dry up it won't be pretty. Our ownership has played the same game two years running, we've such a thin squad that Aaronson is first name on the team sheet.
Hope he sets up a couple and we were in but I'm not hopeful.

Yes for both.
Some crazy comments on here. Not surprised.
There’s a sneaky feeling we could win tonight because we are the better team, have been this season and have the better players.
How do you lot get through the day? Miss out on top 6. We would need to lose another 6 players at least.
How many players playing in red and white tonight do you wish we had signed?
We’re 1/12 on to get top six.
Yes I know how bookies work, how they work the markets.
But come on, this is getting silly, not top six
Injuries keep mounting. If you don't think that's a problem that affects our points tally then I don't
know if you can be helped.
