Im done watching Werner miss sitters
I'm not under any illusions about the 5 game winning streak. Aside from the United game, we gave a lot of chances away to the opposition each time. At some point that's surely got to bite. It's also hard to know how good that United performance was because by all accounts they were all over the place.
This one against Brighton, weird as it sounds, is a bigger test than going to Old Trafford. My only worry is that when we play sides comfortable in possession, we tend to fold. As soon as we face a team that wants to play on the front foot as much as we do, it goes wrong. Brighton create so many chances that against this Spurs side, they'll surely rack up more than 2 goals.
I'm going Brighton for this one. 3-1
It’s 8th v 9th.
Absolutely no reason we shouldn’t be winning this one.
I think we will batter them and will create enough chances to win comfortably.
Whether we take them we will see.
BHA's form has not been great. Although they are picking up points, in their last 3 they have drawn at home to Forest & Ipswich and got battered by Chelsea who handed them 2 goals with their own comical defending. They beat EFC and Utd.
If we play well and avoid mistakes, I'd expect us to have too much for them and win.
I really like Moore but Werner's pace in this game is an essential and the law of probability says he's gonna bang one in sooner rather than later. Timo hattrick
I am frothing at the mouth for this game it should be a cracker.
I mentioned Brentford tactically play into our hands, well the same could be said for us to Brighton here.
Theoretically they should be able to pass between our lines, counter high and get some joy with the space we vacate. I also fancy their midfield if we do not have someone in there to support Biss. We could go too attacking here.
Brighton are aggresive, the Nevilles of this world point out our high line but do not point out Brightons ridiculous high line with players not suited to do so. (Dunk/webster/igor) however protected more by the way their midfield covers the pitch. If we use Solanke to press them high we should have joy too.
A staunch non-fan of Big Ange this is a game where he might be able to make me a believer in his ways if we get a good result.

This game will benchmark our quality as we go into the international break.
BHA started very quickly and were impressive but as each game goes on they're being found out a bit.
We've been the opposite and when you look at our respective form and quality, this really does become a game we should win IF we are expecting us to be one of the main players towards the top.
If we draw then its not such a bad result away from home, but a defeat really will have us questioning what we are capable of.
For me, a Must not Lose, Should Win, so a draw would be no better than OK, sortta game.

I think we'll create chances. I've got no doubt about that. Whether we'll take them is another thing, particularly as we'll really miss Sonny in this game given how high a line they play. We need someone who can run in behind who has the ability to put the ball away and Werner only does the first part .
If we're as open as we have been for each of the last 5 games, even though we've won them, I guarantee you against this Brighton team we'll concede at least 2. I just don't think we'll be clinical enough to score 3 to win the game. The way we defend is still a major concern for me.

Not sure Brighton are that good, as another poster said they couldn't beat Ipswich or Nottm Forest at home, and Spurs are much better than both of them.
I get you are a bit nervous, because this is Spurs we are talking about. But last month they have looked really good, Coventry aside with a weakened side.
Whenever I feel confident I get worried but I feel we won’t lose Sunday
No game is easy in the prem so a draw away from home is always acceptable and I’d be happy with that

Why is "manager" in quotation marks? He is actually the manager?
Same Vicario as always will show up - brilliant shot stopper, great short passing. Iffy long kicking and not brilliant coming out and claiming high balls. But he's our guy!
He is definitely getter better at commanding his area but still room for improvement but the signs are good
His distribution , long kicking, definitely needs to improve but we keep it short most the time anyway but the odd out ball in his locker would be a bonus
Overall he is our best keeper we have had in a long time
