Not saying your not wrong.
But personally, doesnt feel like over the years, we have loads of injuries
We're now having less injuries then we had with Bielsa!..

Here’s a question I’d like the manager or owners to answer:
- Given that another few injuries on top of those could decimate our team selection (and hamper our promotion chances), what measures are being taken to get in extra cover?
An additional question (albeit rhetorical) could be:
- Why do we have these same effing conversations year after year?

these are the questions tho arnt they?.. its a fine balance to make sure you have cover for key positions, but not having loads of surplus players either.
for me its one of those to be wise after the event in a lot of cases...
Not going to hammer on the club about the situation we're in. But, we can in hindsight question their plan.
Because plans are great up until the point they fall apart.
I'd say this summer's plan is teetering on the edge right now. Injuries to key members of Farke's starting XI shouldn't be brushed aside like their no big deal.
Do we have a top 6 squad? Yes. But that's being tested and stretched. And it's looking thinner less than 10 games in.
I hope the club have a solid back up plan. If they don't then it's going to be a bumpy ride.
DF indicated that the club is duty bound to explore the ‘free agent’ market, although he clearly stated he’s not a fan of it.
If that's true Light, then thank fck for that.
Hopefully this means the club recognizes the
need to add depth. Even if Farke doesn't like it.
I bet if we win tonight we'll plod on as we are but hopefully my skeptism about the club strengthening the squad with at least one free midfield agent is proved to be wrong....even Plymouth have just snapped up a spare striker in Andre Gray on a free as they have just been hit with a longterm injury amongst their forward ranks.
If someone shows me stats to prove we haven’t suffered more injuries in recent years than most teams around us, I’ll happily take it back. However, look at the squad sizes of our rivals and tell me that our owners aren’t being utterly irresponsible - gambling away another season with the smallest squad in the division while having funds to all but assure us of promotion.
Burnley 30
Leeds 23
Luton 28
Sunderland 30
Sheffield United 25
Middlesbrough 30
Norwich 29
Coventry 25
Hull city 32
West Brom 25
Blackburn 26
Bristol 28
Watford 27
Stoke 28
Swansea 26
Cardiff 28
Preston 28
QPR 27
Plymouth 26
Millwall 28
Sheffield Weds 25
Derby 28
Oxford 30
Portsmouth 31
We’re down to 18 available in players - if we suffer 2 or 3 more injuries before any of the already-injured return, we literally will not have enough 1st team squad players to to make our allowed 5 substitutes.
Don't forget Lorra that we have at least 3 Leeds players on 3 bookings for the season so far and before the safe less than 5 bookings cut off point in mid December I think it is it's likely one of them probably Rodon will miss a game so hopefully Farke has got a surprise free central defender he is going to recruit because that area is just as depleted and vulnerable as the midfield area is.
Add to that Lorra:
Bamford > Sh 1 te/Glass
Byram > Glass
Joffy > Hardly Used/Farke Puts him On Wing
Debayo > Unproven Kid
Crew > Unproven Kid
Hardly a deep squad. Expensive. But not deep.
