Best keeper we've had in a decade plus.

Rob Green was good, started poorly but was excellent late on.

Schmiechel was great but he never fit the club. Obviously years ago now but I cant remember a goal being his fault

I thought Higgs was decent got injured i think against Liverpool

He was a perfect fit for the club but was hounded out by narrow-minded f@ckwits. He was the one we let get away.

Sully was a decent keeper.

I'd say Neil Sullivan makes top five in the club's history

My favourite was Harvey, but as seen as he's not on the list we don't have to bring him down!..

David Harvey saved a penalty of mine on New Wortley Rec…as 15 year old schoolboys.
Nothing wrong with my pen, hit it top left hand corner, but Harvey leapt like a salmon and tipped over the bar!

Dave Stewart I think was Leeds goalie against Bayern in European Cup Final…if not then Harvey was?
Stewart a good reliable keeper.

Tommy Younger I think was signed from Liverpool in late 1950s…a real character and good keeper.

What was John Lukic like?

Lukic, very tall and a very good keeper, reliable and consistent…good shot stopper imo

I'd say in the history of the club

Martyn was the best ive seen for Leeds by far.

Some good shouts there.

My top 3 would be

1 Martyn. 2. Robinson 3 Harvey

Don't forget Mervyn Day was a solid keeper for us in our Wilko Promotion season and then I think one of the first summer signings after that was John Lukic who we signed back from Arsenal took over from Day.

Yes Martyn was ace and so was Robinson under the O'Leary "Babes" period but overall probably because of my age David Harvey will always be my all time favourite Leeds keeper.

Meslier badly lacks a commanding presence & Rob Green had that in spades. Could regularly hear him above the noise of the Revie Stand. He must have been as hoarse as a crow after a game.

As a kid I always used to enjoy watching John Burridge of Wolves flinging himself about making incredible saves and he was quite a character very vocal always a major presence and of course an excellent keeper....what someone like that would cost nowadays probably £30 million plus.

Yes I know he had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus ha ha but my childhood memories of him were when he was playing for Wolves in the 70's and usually listening to the commentary of Hugh Johns aswell on the Big Match on a Sunday afternoon.

Of course we threw away the chance of having a true legend and a lifelong Leeds fan play for us.
About on par with the bloke who didn't rate the Beatles for awful decisions.
