"There are some people steeped in negativity who have to be negative about everything but positive people like Klopp won't let those people bring them down and will do the best job they can do."
OReds, a reason why I wrote "I think you'll find that Dortmund fans don't like RB, nobody here does, Leeds fans don't like them either, but Klopp going there shouldn't mean anything, the only thing we should be worrying about is us ending up there!.."
The only thing that's bad about this is where he has gone, you should take a look at Germany and see what fans here think, but they know more about RB and what they're like because of Leipzig and the way they got into football over here, they even conned their way past the 49/51 thing and the fans didn't take to lightly to that!..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's just the natural negative reaction people have to everything. In a couple of weeks when the faux outrage has died down, nobody will be talking about it and everyone will still be dreaming of him taking the national team job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
faux outrage - good phrase. It's what Germany is talking about from a few people when it came to a few people heard of RB's involvement at Leeds. I think most people were intrigued and actually quite excited that it might lead to better players because of the RB money and network.
We've been worn down too much by too many cr@p owners to take the Stutgart approach to redbull. Germany is a bit insulated from that I think over there.
That's what happens when you decide that football is a business. A club, and even football itself can be bought and the owner can do whatever they want with it. I might not agree with it but that's the rules of business and that's the way it is unfortunately for football fans. I'm sure Klopp wishes things were different but you can't refuse to participate in society because it's gone how you don't like. Have to fight from within
Klopp's job will be less demanding than being a manager and should suit him well at this time and he can pursue his passion of developing talent and players. Red Bull have produced or helped produce a lot of talent over the years and he will be able to offer his genius in the service of football in that role.
I think you'll find that the German fans are against this is RB, not Klopp, but he's gone in that direction and they're saying burnt some bridges!..
He was a very liked/respected coach over here, but, because of Leipzig and the crap it caused when RB came in, I think German fans have a reason to hold that against him!..
Believe me, if they take control of Leeds then English fans will understand what the problem is, its not Klopp, its his new bosses!..

Was listening to Christian Falk on a podcast last night and he said the same. From what I can see those most annoyed are a few Leeds fans on here tbh!
Personally I think Klopp has spoken very well on it. He said that although there are more successful managers, there aren’t many that have won promotion, fought relegation, challenged for titles and also won the biggest prizes and he wants to pass that experience on. He also wants to learn again and given the multi club set up what an absolutely brilliant opportunity to use and even improve your legacy whilst getting to travel the world and watch footy.
I reckon that’s my dream job actually.
In short it’s a bit of a non-issue blown out of proportion by a small minority.
I think you'll find Leeds fans are on this because they're thinking RB will be future owners, and most don't want that!..
And I'd say, any that do want them in will change their minds if they do get in!..
Leipzig are the most hated club in Germany, but that's because of how RB did things to get them!..

I think you are missing the point completely, but you are Liverpool fan, so wont ever take responsibility for anything.
He was dead against multi club set up, he said it was a disgrace and against tradition, which he believed in.
That the point, he’s a hypocrite.
He did say something 9 years ago yes. If that’s enough for you to embarrass yourself online and demonstrate what a bigoted moron you are, fair enough. You come across terribly btw.

He was definitely critical of multi club ownership but he said it best part of a decade ago.
He didn’t say it was a disgrace at all though, but I think we’re all learning that poster has a bit of a problem with the truth. He’s also very angry.
Maybe Klopp will have to release some kind of statement that at least tries to explain his sudden 180 turn about from his quite critical opinion of his new employers role in German football how ever many years ago it was he said what he said about them and that might go some way to appeasing some of the Dortmund fan base for their apparent disgust in Klopp even though I think most people will be thinking more along the lines of that classic Mrs.Merton quote, "What first attracted you to the multi millionaire Paul Daniels?"
I find it funny, I've given the reason why German fans are against Klopp, it has nothing to do with what he's doing, its where he's gone!..
RB took on Leipzig and did a lot of fiddling to get them!..
They started a lot of trouble around football and got away with what others ain't allowed to do!..

Looking forward into the future when Leeds are hopefully back in the Premier League if by some weird quirk of fate Klopp considers going back into club management and saw Leeds as an exciting project to allay his coaching skills with then I for one and I would bet 99% of all Leeds fans if not all would be cokkerhoop if was the boss at Leeds.
There should be no problem with any fan of any club if he decided to take one on, as long as he leaves RB well out of it!..
Never liked Klopp - too full of himself and patronising.
