Hope so. And well done Mateo.

He doesn't get those type of chances the way we play, he'll not score an easier hat-trick in his career...but well done, still has to get into position and put them away.

Sad but true. We never get in behind a defence and turn them. By the time the ball is played to him there are 5 or 6 defenders in front of him.

I agree with those who think this give Farke all the confidence he needs to know Matteo has no problem putting the ball in the back of the net when given the service.

The competition with Joel is looking fantastic right now.

Meanwhile, our star striker is on fire having scored two goals in the Dominican Republic's win over Antigua and Barbuda.

I definitely think Firpo should be utilised as an attacking player only more as he links up really well with Gnonto and other forward players and this could certainly help us through our injury crisis and if need be Bogle too utilised the same way on the opposite side of the pitch as we have Byram and Schmidt who can fill their defensive roles and with young Crew in midfield reserve and young Debayo an extra CB option I'm hoping this will at least tied us over until Amps is back.

I'd also give Geldhardt another crack at playing as a lone striker if Joseph keeps firing blanks or gets injured but I suspect we will probably see Piroe starting on Friday night and Joseph first off the bench to replace him after 70 minutes of course.

I'm not sure what Gelhardt has to offer now.

He used to be the one you were screaming at the coach to put on as a sub. Now he never seems to shine on the pitch - the few times he's had game time, I've barely seen him touch the ball.

I just don't know what to think about him.
