it’s so big it’s kicked the other clown (the Joker) off the ladder

Joker 2 didn't need any kicking whatsoever. It's been absolutely pilloried by the critics and filmgoers alike.

That aside, hard pass on gore from me.

Haven't watched the 3rd one but the first two were utterly stupid. There's very little to them except extreme gore. That's basically what you pay your money for isn't it? The plot and acting is mostly terrible but you do get to see some incredibly gory and elaborate deaths by a sadistic clown.

I much prefer horror films that make you think and don't treat you like a 10 year old really.

Part one - 5/10
Part two - 7/10

This one is a solid 9 imo. More of a budget and it’s more slick and much less filler than the first two. It helps if you’ve seen them but you can go in raw.

I watched Joker 2 before seeing all the reviews, I thought it was okay. I preferred the first one.

As for horror movies, it isn't really my genre.

Like SE I prefer the horrors that shock you in a different way. The end of the first Saw (watched it without knowing anything at all) was a real “sit up out of bed” moment for me.

Re: the OP, I’ll probably watch it at some point, but right now, in line with the theme of the thread, I’m gonna hard pass.

The original Saw film is one of my all time favourites. I do think the subsequent films have kind of ruined the whole mystique a bit though. As a stand alone horror film though it's incredibly good and hits every note.

Think with Robbs daily posts we are starting to get a picture of what he loves. Clearly cannot get enough gore and guts, whether real or cinematic.

It is a no thank you from me, life is too short to be reveling in misery.

Don’t watch there will be blood then. No guts, no gore, just mind numbingly boring
