*does this mean that Zico lost yet another ten quid on no tavpen?

The law-making body International Football Association Board (Ifab) says that if the ball is either kicked or headed by a player and the ball then goes on to their own arm, it is not handball unless the ball then goes directly into the opponents' goal or the player scores immediately afterwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He used his arm to block the shot. It was defo a pen
no he didnt it hit off his leg, then arm and as per rules above, that is not a penalty
pfft, if his arm swapped with his leg maybe.
clear handball, no question, only a fool would argue otherwise.

well, thats two of you then
you trying to say it wasn't a handball?
really?
ref couldn't wait to blow the whistle and deny us our stonewall penalty kick.
Did you see what I wrote?
Yes it hit his arm ONLY after it had come off his thigh, therefore not a stonewall penalty
There will be no penalty if:
"the ball touches a player's hand/arm immediately from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player."
ffs he gave you 12 mins to try and score how much do you need?
so you think just because he adds on twelve minutes that you can play volleyball in the dying seconds or have 2 goalkeepers?
doesn't work like that, its the same rules the whole game.
as for this
"the ball touches a player's hand/arm immediately from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player."
it didn't touch him anywhere else, he just stuck his hand out to stop the ball, it was a cracking save and nobody is talking about that enough, credit to him.

filth
All yesterday did was underline what I have said from the start of the season. The Rangers squad is woefully short of quality and options in far too many key areas.
I was giving Clement a bit of a pass because he clearly wasnt supported in the 'rebuild' the way he was lead to believe he would be.
Unfortunately though Clements insistence on sticking with Dessers, Cerny and Tavs in particular will cost him his job.
Fair play to Aberdeen who have certainly started the season in excellent form. Time will tell how it plays out but I fully expect Rangers to lose at Pittodrie next week and second place will seem a million miles away at that point.

Who's your striker to replace Dessers?
It would be a real shame if we have the league tied up by the last day to be playing Aberdeen who need a win to guarantee 2nd place.
Real shame indeed
Just saw an amusing stat. Rangers have only scored once in four away games this season.
That's terrible.

A good question. Beale has the best, top flight win % of any Rangers manager so it can't be that.

Unfortunately we have kind of boxed ourselves into corner with that one.
I said at the start of the season I would put Danilo out on loan because he was clearly miles away from being match fit for us. I would then have used his wages to bring in an alternative more athletic striker in on loan for the season.
As it stands Igamane is our only option.
If we are willing to pay nearly £2m for a young player then he surely has the ability and hopefully temperament to cause teams like Kilmarnock and Dundee United problems?
I dont think Rangers have much to lose giving Igamane a run of games. I dont know any Rangers fan who thinks we even have an outside shot at winning the league. If we stick with Tavs, Dessers and Cerney then we will be lucky to get third.
Dont get me wrong guys like Diomande and Barron are not exempt from criticism either but its clear we desperately need a couple of quality experienced players in the midfield to help these guys out a bit. I dont believe for a second we signed Barron with the expectation he would start every game. Unfortunately we failed in attempts to add that experience to the midfield and so here we are.
Clements only argument to keep his job might be that 2 or 3 additional players in january could see a significant step change.
Unfortunately for me, whilst I agree he has been sold a pup to some degree, he also hasnt made the most of what he does have at his disposal.
Clement hasnt shown that he is stubborn with his tactics and formation and that he doesnt have anything up his sleeve to beat the low block. That is why we are the lowest away goal scorers in the league.
Rangers just look flat, that being said rugby park is a tricky ground to go to, its always a minging fixture.
think the rangers game will be a good one next week, can really show us where both sides are at.
Do you reckon there will be a fair few Celtic fans that don't bother going to the Dundee match cos they want to watch the Aberdeen Rangers game?
Celtic v Dundee is the most pointless fixture in Scottish football history.
